I prefer Cole - I think it is much more masculine and unusual, without sounding strange (like some unique names tend to). Evan sounds more like a "safe" choice, making it a tad boring! Hope this helps - good luck!

I also had two names for my boy. For months, my husband and I wavered between Daniel and Andrew. Daniel means "beloved"; Andrew, "warrior". My son was incredibly active in the womb and he came early, like he couldn't wait to be born. I FELT he was more of an Andrew than a Daniel. And when he came out, he cried so hard, one nurse stepped back for a second from his wailing. That clinched it. He IS Andrew.
