I have worked out for years and it never looked like it. I have lost 20 lbs this year. I went from a size 8 to a size 2. I'm really embarrassed to post the before pictures.
I'm 48, 5'5". I use to wear a size 6 for years and years. Then about 6 years ago I gained 5 lbs and went up a size. I thought, "OK, I'm in my 40's, but I don't want to get any bigger." A year ago I felt like I was getting the "middle age " spread. I read somewhere about www.thedailyplate.com. January 1, 2008, I made up my mind to loose 5 lbs. I logged everything I put into my mouth. I wear a heart rate monitor when working out. It was slow, very slow. But the pounds melted off. I still log everything everyday.
I didn't want to post this but my SO kept nagging me to do it.
thank you!! I had my SO take before pictures January 1st, and after each STS mesocycle, I'm going to have more pictures taken to see if I can improve any. I had to flex hard for these muscles to show.
