My Nephew if on the Transplant List!

Thanks for all of your prayers and good wishes. My nephew is on the top of the list.

We were very worried. Getting on "the list" is not as easy as one would think. They take EVERYTHING into consideration. For example, he is not married and lives alone so therefore, who can help take care of him, etc.

Because his heart is not functioning at all and he is still being kept alive by the 2 pumps and the respirator, he is first in line to get a heart.

They did do a brain scan today to make sure all is okay with all he has been through. We are waiting on the results of that. The docs think though, that there is no brain damage - just doing it as a precaution.
