My measurments

I got my BF tracker and its saying that my fat is 14.9%. Thats pretty good isn't it? I dunno and I am also not sure if I did it right.
My arm was hard to do and there seems to be a bit more fat there then anywhere.I could barely get anything on my legs b/c they are very muscular and I think I was grabbing skin AND there wasn't a whole lot in the waist area either.

That's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! That is an excellent BF%!!!! All that hard work is paying off!!! Congratulations!!!!

Keep practicing and you will get better at taking your reading. Who knows, maybe your actually 13%!!!!!

Thanks!:) I ordered the same one that you recommended to someone else. I can tell the excitement in your post..I think you are more excited then I am! Do the readings vary from the time of day you take them? I just took them and of course it is the afternoon now.

I am bowing down to you! OMG! That is great!!!! I have a hard time pinching on my legs too. It is really hard to grab there.

That's about what we came up with for me when we did caliper testing in class...then we did hydrostatic weighing and I was 17.9%. Everyone in the class had a higher reading w/ the underwater test than the caliper. With calipers you have to be really precise. We measured and marked each place with a marker before we did the caliper reading, you also want to be sure to not grab muscle (so, grab the area then flex to make sure you don't have muscle, then relax again), and be sure to place the caliper in the center of the fold, not up against your body...hopefully that makes sense. Having your DH help you will be much easier (especially for triceps).

Either way, your bf% is somewhere around there and that's awesome!

That is a wonderful bodyfat measurement and congratulations, Lori. It is perfectly normal for a woman's triceps to have a bit more fat, and it is something we women have to worry about. When I measure the back of my arm, I have somebody help me. I can hardly get anything on my legs either, and even when I gain weight, which I have, the front of my thigh doesn't get less muscular.

I currently have fifteen to twenty pounds to lose, and I just lost five. Good luck.

Mine is about the same as yours. I don't use my omron much these days since I am just bored seeing the same measurements day and in day out.

I'm in AWE of all of you! I'm fit at least I thought I was, but I can still somehow manage to pull some skin anywhere. Seriously though, thats is really great!! Good work Lori BC
