In addition to and in anticipation of the new series, I've now purchased new workout clothes (from a great catalog I got in the mail, Activa--www.activasports.com), a new burst-resistant stability ball and the Troy Lite barbell! Good thing I work out at home--I'd never be able to afford a gym membership :p!

Woo-Hooo! Isn't it fun? I just posted to you on the Ask Cathe forum about the stability ball but I guess you got your order in already. You are going to love your Troy lite. Let us know when it arrives!

It sure is fun, Debbie--TOO fun}( ! But all this new stuff will keep me motivated, and I guess there are worse things to splurge on than fitness equipment :7 !

I know what you mean. I just ordered a barbell today too.
My DH now asks everyday, "Are you expecting any packages today?" Sometimes UPS leaves packages here, and sometimes he leaves them at the shop and DH is the one who brings them home. ;-) ;-)
But it is fun though, isn't it? We have to have all our supplies because the new vidoes will be released very very soon, right? :p :p

Yes, gotta have it all! Plus, all this fitness equipment keeps us out of the doctor's office. Have fun, you two, with your new toys. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/party/yelclap.gif[/img]

Hi Marie, I know what you mean. Now im thinking of getting the troy lite bar because of my wrist. It is just once it is on my mind I can't help it but just get it and then Im off of my good "high";-)

The anticipation is killing me! Just ordered the Power System stability ball and Troy lite barbell and the CTX series. Better save my pennies so that I can pay off the credit card bill! ;)

I asked Cathe the other day why she didn't include the stability ball in the Body Blast Legs and Glutes. She replied basically saying because it was used quite a bit in the intensity series. So, I checked out the ONE intesity series DVD I don't have, PUB and PLB. Watching the video clip shows that it's used often. Now I feel since I bought a stability ball (still in the box), I ought to go ahead and get the additional Instensity series I don't have and get some use out of my ball. Legs and Glutes won't be shipped until Mid October right??? Some reasoning huh?
Oh, and I will be ordering the Troy Lite bar early October.
Thank God for VISA.

I got the info. recently in the Video/DVD comments forum, under the thread, Need a new Barbell. The link is www.fitness1st.com

I did the same thing, copied the page and emailed my husband. He was going to purchase the Firm's Stick (I had never heard of it), but that only goes up to 8lbs - I think. Oh no, no. He doesnt realize how strong I am - he gave me a 4lb. medicine ball as one of my bithday gifts. I of course exchanged it for and 8lb.

Hi Run love your smiley face!

Yes, it's $49.00 - I have one and love it. I ordered additional plates so all put together I go as high as 85 #s - you'll love your's too. I also have a great stability ball - picked it up at Modells (i'm in NYC) so we practically have these stores on every block - LOL. Seriously though i've had to cut down on my workouts - bad, bad knee but i'm looking forward to the new series and all my new equipment (once i've recovered from my sugery of course).

Take care Run (sorry, don't know your name).

Iris

Here's just a thought for any of you who might already own the Firms barbell and plated weights. I read on another post that the quick release springs and plates from the firm barbell will also fit the Troy Lite. I already own the Firm's padded barbell (and will keep to use for leg work--love the padding) so I was able to just buy the Troy lite barbell alone. It reduces the cost to $17.50.

Hope that helps! :) :)
