My coworker is clipping his nails...

ARGH! Why must people do this at WORK? Or if they must do it at work, why must they do it at their DESKS? Go to the bathroom for cryin' out loud!

The clipping noise is sending me over the edge. I may have to get out my Cathe kickbox moves and give this guy a piece of my mind. }(

Yep it has been done in my office as well. It makes me want to puke. There is just something really NASTY about someone else's finger nail clippings. Gross!

That is truly gross & annoying. I have a guy who sits in a cubicle in front of my office, & he's constantly whistling, or making strange popping noises with his mouth, or whatever. A clear sign of someone who has no work to do that actually requires thought. It is so distracting & it drives me INSANE!!!!!!!!!

I actually saw a guy at the mall IN THE FOOD COURT clipping his finger nails once. I was so disgusted. I tried to stare him down in disgust but he was too busy clipping away to notice.

I was wondering about this.....I file my nails sometimes if I get a snag or something, no clipping though. Just can't stand snags they make me bite or pick and I end up with no nail. Other than that I pretty much work and read the forums .

But really is the ocassional filing as gross and unforgivable as the nail clipping?? just curious I can probably wait till I get in to the car if it is.

EWWWW! That's gross! His clippings could have flown into someone's box of Biggie Fries or something. YUCK!

Ever notice that only MEN clip their fingernails in public? I wonder why no one ever teaches them that this is inappropriate. They apparently think it's so acceptable that they keep nail clippers in their desk drawers, or on their keychains.

Fortunately, I've never had a coworker clip his toenails... well, I can't say that with certainty since I usually don't ever SEE the clipping, I just HEAR it. I've also worked with some (old) men who pick their noses in meetings. Yup, right in front of everyone. GROSS!

When I lived in NYC I used to see people on the subway doing this all the time. I sat next to a woman one time who was clipping her fingernails and they were flying all over, some landing on me. (Gag!) Also saw a woman pruning her eyebrows and dropping the hairs all over.

Groom at home, people. It's just gross.

Personal hygiene should be just that: PERSONAL, as in private. Ask him if he would floss his teeth in the office. If he reacts to that idea with disgust, tell him that's what clipping his nails in public is like to other people. On the other hand, the question could give him ideas!

And what is it with guys picking their nose in the car? I mean, it's not necessary a public arena but people can still see!! NASTY!!!
