Muscles Not Firm

Me too!

I also have done many of Cathe's strength workouts including STS 4x. I see slight improvement in my muscles, I defintely feel stronger. BUT I don't see the development I think I should. I confess my diet needs improvement and I have many pounds I should lose. I know @ age 45 I'm fitter and stronger than alot of other people similarly aged. Sometimes that helps me, but I too get depressed looking in the mirror and not seeing the results I want. And yes, I know a cleaner diet would show the meager appearing muscles I do have

Finally- someone that's just like me - but made it work with weight watchers. Interesting. I might sign up or get my daughter involved (who really needs it). I am going to cut alcohol out and also trim the calories every day to see how it goes. Your weight is definitely my goal weight!

Yes - Cathletes never give in! :p

Cosmo mom,
Wow you just described me! I am also 5'2 and always weighed between 125-128lbs. I was always tried to get down 120lbs. I ate between 1500-1600 calories but could never get down to my goal weight. I worked out with cathe 6 days a week. My clothes would fit very snug god forbid I decided to cheat that day the clothes would be tight.
I now weigh between 120-122 pounds. I did it. I decided to join WW on line and cut my works to 5/6 a week 30min. It's only 30 minutes but I really WORK those 30 minutes.
I know that some people feel that WW is too low in calories but it really works for me.
It may not work for everybody but I have a small frame and even if I eat all clean 1600 calories I can't get down to my goal weight. I eat all my points with clean food just smaller portions. Jaime Eason is a beautiful woman and no doubt she has an awesome body. I would love to look like her. She also has no children and probably doesnt have a 9 to 5 like the rest of us do and working out is her life that's her bread and butter. So she has to look that way.

Cosmo
Wine is my biggest issue too but I don't think I could ever give it up totally but I definitely should cut it down a bit. Maybe one day.........:)

Just wanted to post one last thing here about the "Muscles Not Firm" topic. It's a pretty simple point and that is when you are doing your weights, Cathe always says to "SQUEEZE" your muscle. I have found that if you really concentrate on that you will see more defined muscles. Whether it be biceps, legs or even your abs - she says "squeeze"!

Good luck!!
