Muscle Toning

I'm trying to tone my muscles and have seen some good results in just 6 weeks. I mainly use Cathe's PH,MIS,ME and lately I have tried legs and glutes and the pryamids. I run for my cardio. I was wondering if you can use PH one night and then the next night use bootcamp or cardio and weights, or is this to much on the muscle?

Cinnamon - will you post your rotation? I was trying to work on a plan using those exact videos! I'd be very interested in how you worked PH/MIS/ME together with the running.

Hi Cinnamon,

I have done these workouts one day after the other. I would just avoid using really heavy weights for bootcamp and cardio and weights. Also, you may want to try posting your question in Video & DVD Questions and Comments - more people will see it there and there are amazing people who will give you better answers than I can. Back at the time I posted this I was using a rotation I got off that fitness video fanactics which was using the intensity series. This was the rotation:

Monday - ME
Tuesday - Imax2, but I ran 3.5 miles in the morning
Wednesday - Cardio and Weights
Thursday - PLB/run 3.5 miles in the morning
Friday - PUB
Saturday - Bootcamp

I only wanted to workout 5 days a week, so I wanted to sub bootcamp on Wednesday(because I love it) and not do the C&W on Saturday, but just run 3.5 miles in the morning. I would sometimes sub PH and MIS on Mondays for the ME. This is a good rotation and I saw good results, but now I'm doing a S&H rotation. I'm into the 2nd week. I hope to see good results, but I will go back to this one probably after this rotation.
 
I don't have advice, just wanted to say thanks for the topic. I run for my cardio and want to start a rotation using these videos. Thanks for the timely advice! - Bobbi

Forgot to thank you for the weekly rotation! I haven't been visiting here very much :-( because I've been really busy with classes. But I'm back to PH/ME and MIS for October. I'm adding running to the mix too I need to prepare for the winter training runs that I plan to sign up for - first run will be early December!

Do any of you ladies run in the winter outdoors and you deal with cold temperatures? If so, what type of shoes do you wear, your regular running shoes or something with a heavier fabric? I'm in
St. Louis and most Saturdays it will be cold but come Christmas -February, there may be snow on the ground. Please hlep if you have any advice!

Hey Angela,
Just finished my slow and heavy last week and I really liked the results in my arms, shoulders and legs. I'm just having a tough time with the glutes and outer thighs. I do not have much fat, but it seems like it is taking forever to tighten up. I'm probably a little hard on myself, but I look and Cathe and an get so jealous. My husband keeps telling me that I have been doing this since April and that Cathe has been doing it for a long time, so it takes time. This was my rotation and I did it for 4 weeks:

Monday - Legs & Shoulders, 200 walking lunges with 8lb weights
Tuesday - ran 5.7 miles in the morning, Chest & Back, Ab section of Allstep
Wednesday - Biceps & Triceps
Thursday - ran 5.7 miles in the morning
Friday - the 1st 2 Fridays I did PH and the last two I did L&G
Saturday - ran 5.7 miles in morning
Sunday - off
