most romantic song of all time...

Diane,
This is DH and my first song ever. We always dance to it. When it comes on it's like the whole world freezes and it's just he and I mingling, touching, loving, together... no one else there.

Love to hear that unchained melody...
Lynn

Michael Bolton "Said I loved you but I lied"... this is a song that's moved me to tears more than once.

Sade - her whole Cd "Lovers Rock" is so sexy and intimate for lovers.

Lynn

I'd forgotten "Just the Way You are"... but when I read your post tears filled me eyes, for past loves, etc. Yes, it is among the best.
Lynn

I just heard Because the Night... Is that the title by Natalie Merchant & the manic street preachers was that them? That is a pretty passionate song.

Marla

marla, you did your routine to which song? michale bolton? i haven't heard of "Because the Night" but i love Natalie Merchant!!

Said I loved you but I lied. But this was early ninenties. A loonnng time ago.

You had to have heard Natalie Merchant's & 10 thousand maniacs, "because the night, belongs to lovers. Because the night belongs to us."

yep you're right i have heard that one...were you singing just now? :p now did that step routine look similar to that scene in "Romy and Michell's Reunion" where they do that dance to "Time After Time"? LOL! i had to say it! you're gonna have to demonstrate that at our get together ......i can't wait!

btw, i forgot to add Beautiful Child by Johnny Lang

jes

Oh my Gawd! That scene was hilarious wasn't it? That was such a trip. LOL! My God! Did I look like that? Oh NO!!

Never heard of johnny lang. Is it country? I also love Adelaida by George Strait. What gal wouldn't want George to swim the Pontchartrain just to stand beside her?

Marla:7

Amen Sister! yes, that scene is ROFLYAO funny. Johnny Lang is blues. i'll burn you some and bring it w/ me in April!;-) OR maybe i'll mail it to ya! George Strait has my imaginary permission to swim anywhere he pleases!

Diane & Lynn,

I was going to say Unchained Melody as well. It was the first song DH & I danced to the night we started going out. We were both in high school then. We still consider it our song and even danced to it at our wedding. It is a timeless classic.
