More COWBELL!! Just a little funny to cheer you up!

<Hey this is cute. Was it actually on VH1?>

No, it's an old skit from Saturday Night Live, one of my favorites. That's Will Farrel on the cowbell and Christopher Walken playing the group manager; it's not the real Blue Oyster cult. :) SNL just showed the skit again recently.
 
Ironically enough, my husband and I were making dinner tonight, and I did a little play on words with the "More! More Cowbell!" This was a great skit!

I've seen this a couple of times on SNL. It is HILARIOUS! And sometimes now my DH and I just look at eachother and say MORE COWBELL and we both crack up!!!:p :D
 
Dani, that was funny. My son was laughing a lot, too. He said he liked "all that funny business". He also taught me how to work Windows Media Player. I was very surprised!:)

What's really funny is during the skit, you see the other guys in the band and they are trying SO hard not to laugh. :7
 
That was a great sketch, and I've always LOVED that song as well! (Though now, when I hear it, will I hear anything but cowbell??):eek:

EXACTLY Kathryn! We were listening to a radio talk show, when the bumper music came on it was that song! DH started doing the cowbell motion! Too funny!

Thanks for the funny Dani---much better than salmon and expressing kitties! ;) (though secretly I do love a good gross-out story--What is WRONG with me?!?!?!)
