***MONDAY MONDAY 12-WEEKER MONDAY***

Hi Everyone!
I didn't get a chance to check in over the weekend, but I did okay with my eating. I had to do some paper work this morning and didn't get my workout in , but I'm going to do 4DS LIS now. Breakfast was protein pancakes that I had made Saturday and frozen. Lunch was tuna and crackers, plus an apple. Dinner will be a big sweet potato with low-fat margarine. Hope you all have a great Monday.

Thanks, Sue, I didn't realize the difference. I will have to check into BFL more than because I'll need my energy that's for sure! ;-)

Hiya Girls

I can't believe it's Monday afternoon. Where did the day go? Being busy is a good thing though

I start my day at 5am. I call it MY TIME. Oh ok-- it's GIVE ME COFFEE OR RISK INJURY TIME I only have two cups but its enough to get me going.

I did 6miles this morning at the gym. Worked ABs there and did shoulders from ME and PUB. I can't believe how my endurance has improved for my runs. I'm liking this training.

My meals are always right on time. I feel if I miss one or think Im not hungry it may only lead to me inhaling crap later on in the day

I too only weigh myself once a week. I weighed myself last week (Sunday) and again yesterday where I was down 2 pounds. Not bad. I hate to be a slave to the scale. I kinda go by how my clothes fit etc.

Just a quick check in to say THANK YOU! I was down 6 pounds this week! I know that won't continue, but it's a great way to start the week!
 
Hey Challengers!

My day as been a good one. Went to wally world and gave my donation there:p Then I went to a friends house for coffee with the babies. Of course they didn't play but the mommys could talk:)
My workout this afternoon was UB work and a 6 mile run. I went has heavy as i could with the weight work so we will see if there is any DOMS any the a.m...if not then I don't know what I will do.

My meals today haven't been that plentiful but there was no way I could eat supper b/c I ate a snack at 4 and it was more filling then I realized!
Meal#1 cottage cheese/fruit
Meal#2 Protein shake with PB and chocolate pudding:9 My version of a peanut butter cup!
Meal#3 Pita pizza, lots of veggies and chicken. And some fruit
Thats it. If I am hungry before bed I will have another shake.

Gayle** I was thinking you must be quit the powerhouse to lift those weights over your head:) Im thinking on leg day I may have to get DH to help me. I can probably squat plenty, its just getting it over my head.

Marcia** Im not sure what the P90X eating program is like so I can't comment. Im just going to try to add protein and carbs to every meal. I probably don't eat as much protein as i should...or veggies for that matter! DH bought me a Ipod shuffle for our anniversary. I think its probably one of the cheaper ones b/c it was only $99. Good enough for me:+

Christine** Your rockin it~ I think you should do whatever you did last week...seems to be working for you!

Gin** Maybe you will see the results this week. Try not to get discouraged although I know thats easier said then done but if you have been eating clean the results will come! I think Gayla answered all your questions for ya~ She is the BFL queen! LOL

Kelly** I guess you could buy a BF monitor? That should track the weight gain. BTW your measurements don't look bad, you must be tall?

Andrea** It can be hard to get out of bed this time of yr! Here its cold and dark when I get up! It takes alot of motivation to get up when the bed is so warm!

Luckyruns** Good job on the weightloss. I find that interval training really helps with my endurance.

Valarie** I was thinking of making pancakes and freezing them as well. Are they o.k like that?

Kelly** I love getting up and getting my workout over with but only on the days that I am working a day shift...thats only 8 days a month!:) I can manage those few days! I am hungier throughout the day though.

Jonahnah** I hate leg work in general so no lunge is a good lunge!

Sue** Good job on the workout~

Tomorrow I am getting up early to get a 8 mile run in before baby group. If I am tired in the afternoon I can have a nap cause Im off!

Gin - that was me last week - I did everything right and my weight did not budge. Then suddenly my body realized I was indeed serious and decided to let go of some weight, and I lost 6 pounds this week. Keep it up another week or two to see if that makes a difference. Also, if you just started lifting heavy after a period of endurance workouts, I find my muscles collect fluid for a bit and that adds weight. They, too, eventually let it all go.

Lorie - Thanks! I want to clean up what I did last week a bit - the first few pounds are the easiest to get off (once they get moving), but then I tend to slow to a crawl. :p
