Precilla~ I've never tried iTrain downloads. Can you recommend some tracks? The blankets do have their names on them. Oh with my pumping, it's really not as much as you think 20oz/child....and that's for a 14 hour day.

My run sucked. :( I don't know if it was too hard of a cardio coach? or too cold outside? Or too windy? Or not enough carbs? Combo of all? Urgh. I ran 3.5 miles out....then had to take a break and rest at a bridge.....then I ended up walking the 3.5 miles back home. :( Urgh. I guess I "hit a wall". I was really hungry too. I need to bring a granola bar or something. On a good note...I burned as many calories as I would have walking or running....but just feel blah. Thank God these days are not so frequent. Urgh! I have to order some energy gels or somethign too. I've been dragging my feet about these....
 
I did lis...something fast although Kara napped over and hour. I just put her down for her afternoon nap!

Melanie-sorry your run was blah! I hate the hungry feeling during a workout..always slows me down.

Pricilla-I plan on taking advantage of the dental field when I get out of dh school:D

Waves to everyon! Gotta get chores done when K is alseep. Haley goes to gym today and we carpool adn today is not my day to pick up so she wont be home til 6:30..gonna be a long afteroon without her entertainment.
 
Ok so I haven't said anything yet but I DON"T LIKE MY BOOBIES NOW! :mad: They are not as full as they used to be (pre pregnancy)!!! DH even noticed how little they are now! :( On one hand, I missed them because they don't get in the way and its so much more comfortable running but on the other hand now I feel like I look like a boy again! Looking back, I felt very sexy pregnant because of my curves. :D Next month I will get back on BC so hopefully the hormones will give me some boobs again. At least that's what happened pre preggo.

Priscila- I have never really looked into ITrain workouts. What are they?

Mel- It is so frustrating when you are so looking forward to a good workout and then it sucks! At least you burned some calories...its the small steps remember? WTH am I saying? I don't feel accomplished unless I am sweaty, hurting and gasping for air at the end.
 
Jen-I was a perky 34C before Haley..after nursing I was a 34 a/b...no telling what I will look like after nursing Kara. I guess its the price we pay uh. Never really bothered me though..although I am feeling more sexy with them full again.
 
Ahhhh, post preggo boobies are liek saggy flapjacks but they are very lightweight! This mornign I was coming downstairs in my t-shirt from sleeping adn noticed that mine were drooping so much that my nipples which should be dead center were actually pointing to my toes. What we do for our kids! I used to have really cute perky boobs that were in teh same region as my armpits. Now, they start there and hang down. Remember the days of not needing a bra! Ha!
Melanie- I know how much you look forward to your workouts. You are pushing yourself so hard, wish I coudl be there and help you. I think that the energy gel would help. ALso, I like to also have some scrambled wggs with a high fiber tortilla, it helps. Running takes so much out of your body, you really have to gear it up. I know you are bummed, but you still did awesome! You just need my cheesy running mix. Thank you again for all that you did for all of us this week.
I look forwradt o reading our forum every day. You gals make it worth it. I will get back later to talk to the rest, just popping in while my son thinks I am getting the vacuum.
 
Christine~ too funny about your son thinking you are getting vaccuum. I do that too....super quick check ups. Can you send me a amazon link again for the gels you use? Do you bring water along too. Do you need to drink lots of water with those energy drinks? You do have an awesome mix of music! I wish you were here to whip me into shape. Ironically the cross country coach was supposed to run with me today, but had to back out. Now I'm going to have to take a rest from running for a couple of days (per training schedule) for my long run on Sunday (I think I'm up to 9 miles) *YIKES*

My boobes are always smaller after I am done nursing. I remember looking in mirror after I weaned Jadon and imagining that my grandmas boobies looked much like mine. Don't fret...mine certainly did perk up after a few months. They started out Bs, then went to As, then stabilized back to Bs. I think the big change was going from Ds to As in a mater of a couple days it seemed!

I am beat tired today. I am going to listen to my body though....about elliptical later. I'd really like to do another workout today (especially since the numbers on my scale were so discouraging)....but I'm going to be a 'good' girl. I think. :rolleyes:
 
Melanie- I am going to be a good girl too. I am feeling run down and will nap instead of work out today. I want to but know it will be a crummy one! YEs, I drink a lot of water. Nothing but! For a treat, I have sparkling lemon water. I try to hydrate at night as much as possible so i do not pee on the long runs. But yo uall know there is plenty of need for me to pee in public! Get the GU gels on amazon. They tuck right into your pocket. I will aslo send you a link for a great water bottle that goes around your hips...
Got to run, I am now supposed to be making lunch.
 
Okay, I'm ordering the GU.....do you have to take water along with it? I dont carry water with my runs b/c I have nowhere to put it......send me link for hip thingie too!!!!!

Thanks ladies! You always know the right thing to say. I guess I was just so used to my porn star boobies. Oh well, the fun had to end sometime. ;)

Well I planned on going home to run on TM but DH said the power is out so I might be stopping for some beer and we will figure out something to do. ;) On a funny note, he sent me a picture text of James with one of those flashlights that miners wear on their heads on his head with a caption saying "Mom the power went out." It was pretty funny! :D
 
Christine- or anyone else who can answer this.... where is ab circuits with STS? Is it with the set you let me borrow or is it a seperate workout you have to purchase?

about those post-baby boobie woes: try walking in my bra (ok, bra really doesn't work in place of shoes). For years I've been looking forward to finally having boobs once I was breastfeeding. Did I get them? nope. I'm an AA..yes AA like the little batteries...and barely hit an A when breastfeeding...can't even find nursing bras that fit! So...whenever you are feeling down, just be glad you aren't me :)

I found out some exciting news about the Y photo shoot we did that I wrote about recently: we're going to be on a billboard! I'm certain they won't use a pic with my baby belly--this town is way too conservative for that! Anyway, hope the pick a good one, and it will be strange seeing us so big!

If you are thinking of doing these long runs, or training for a marathon, you really need it. One thing you can do, which I like, is stash it in the stroller, or set up loops and have teh water stashed behind a rock or whatever. It depends. I use the belt thing when I know that I will be away and unfamiliar with the area. I just woke up from napping, the kids are upstairs. I am more sore than before I laid down. I am glad I took today off, and now have pizza and beer on the brain thanks to Susan and Jen. So when the kids wake up we are going to get salad and pizzas at CPK and come home and make my son a robot outfit from all the cardboard boxes in the garage. I will drink beers!
Susan - I need to do LIS more. I have LoMAx and LIS and never do them becuase I do not really know the moves. You inspired me. With my rested legs, I will do them tomorrow!
Jen- So cute about hte picture!!!! As for the abs dvd, yes, it is a separate purchase. ALthough, I think I had it. I will go look tonight and if I do, send it to you to copy. The Calean one called "you've got abs" is crippling. Today is the first day in 4 that I can cough without wincing.
Melanie- do not forget that you have a lot of water/ milk in your body so the weight should not be real in line with what you want to see right now. Let your body adjust to the supplements and it will even out. Bet it is water retention, yo uexercise fiend!
Lisa Marie- AA was my first bra in 7th grade. Girl, you had me laughign so hard. That is great to hear about the billboard. DO you have copies that we can see? Also, I stalked you on FB and I have never seen such a cute preggo figure. You looked terrific!
Off to climb back in bed. They sleep longer with me holding them...

Yes Christine, I am very inpatient!! lol And I"m a sweat addict. Lucky for me...I can sweat like a pig taking care of these kiddos and cleaning up the house (which is a never ending project). Like I said before, I'm a very figity/hyper type person. I"m amazed that I was able to stay on bedrest for close to three months!

I've been sore every morning....just like an old person. I take alot of ibuprofen when I"m in training.

Once I can take the gals running with me....I can stash a water bottle...but I've been running solo b/c it's too cold. I think my jogging stroller is designed for 6 weeks and up...and I used kiddopatamous snuzzler to help craddle the neck. Once it's in the 40s I will try to adventure out with them! I hope they like it.....otherwise I"m in the country and noone will hear them cry anyway. lol

Jen, we are a bunch of wackos with our fitness addictions. Most of my friends look at me like I'm crazy! lol
 
Mel- I agree about being a wacko! I was watching Cathe's ab circuits dvd at work and my girlfriend came up behind me laughing because I am ALWAYS talking about working out or something fitness/health related. My girls are work are so disappointed about "preggo Jen" being gone because I wasn't such a health nazi then.

Christine- I will look and double check to make sure we don't have it stashed somewhere else (ab dvd) cause now that I think of it, I think I remember seeing it with the stuff you sent and maybe its in another CD book. (STS filled up the one I have) I can't wait for Chalean! I am pretty pleased with most of my body except my abs.

Lisa- Ok so no offense but your story does help. ;) Thanks for sharing! I think it is quite the shock to go from almost a D back down to a very small B and they seem to keep shrinking at that!

Well no beer cause I drank the last one the other night and it was POURING on the way home so I was NOT stopping. No workout either, well, I will just say no running. ;) Although DH did ask if I have been doing my "exercises" and I excitedly say "Yes can you tell?" and he says "No not really, still feels really big." :mad: Oh well....off to keagal! Now I am determined....and in keagal training. :p
 
I love to work my abs! Unfortunately I've never really been able to see my abs though....b/c of the layer of adipose tissue over them. I'm hoping that by increasing my lean muscle mass I will finally be able to see them. I have never eaten so clean in my life! I feel good in that aspect. Still need more veggies and more water.

When I was a little girl I used to be teased b/c I was as thin as Olive Oil (from Popeye) but still had this "bubble belly". I learned to suck it in pretty well.

Christine, cardio coach whipped my butt outside today. It is designed for indoor equipment,...but can be used outside too. It's based on four levels of exertion (level 1, level 2 steady state, level 3 slight anerobic, level 4 all out exertion). I think you'll like it. ;) I ordered energy gel & water belt. I'm so excited. I'm becoming such a fitness gear junkie! I'm going to have to change my handle from "melanalyus" to "gadgetgirl". lol I also ordered a book about the "lean runner". I love to read about nutrition. I'm such a dork!
 
melanie-forgot to answer your question about Reese's weight. I'm not sure what she is now, but she was back to her birth weight of almost 8lbs 3 weeks ago. She's out growing some of her newborn clothes, so all I know is that she's getting bigger :)

jen-glad my little boobies could help!

christine-i'm not sure what pic they will be using for the billboard, but you can see a picture of the mailer being sent out by going to www.rochfamy.org and clicking on the spring brochure. I was a bit nervous about doing pool shots at 38weeks preggo, but I figured what the heck--I like my body preggo better than not anyway
