Good morning fitness buddies...

I did the 200 walking lunges this morning but I didn't do them in the backyard as planned. I turned off my clock at 4:45 and did get up until 5:10. After I fed the horse, I just did them in my house while my breakfast was cooking. I went from one end to the other. That is one more calorie burner. I was sweating pretty good when I was done.

I didn't know whether I'd be able to do these or not. My butt is soooo sore and so are my hamstrings. But I got them done.

It is calling for 90 degrees here today, what happened to fall? I'll have to run later in the evening but will get my abs done when I get off work at 3.

Hope everybody is doing well today.

I'm going to do Coremax 1&2 because I didn't do abs yesterday.x(
Then when the boys go to school, I'm going to try to run for the whole 30 min.I think I'm ready to crossover to all running. I'll see how I feel tho. Sometimes my mind wants to, but my chest tells me otherwise. Then I'll do the walking lunges on the side of my house where I have a "little" privacy.

Good morning Kali.... go for the run!! Run until you just can't anymore, walk to catch your breath, and then start again. Who knows, with your good cardio base, you may surprise yourself and keep going for the full 30 minutes.


Wendy, I'd like to know how your plans are coming too. I know you said you'd be busy this week with it all.

Something is wrong with my computer. The past few days when I log on to the forum, I have to refresh the pages to update them. They're like behind. Now this morning I can't post. I obviously can reply, but I tried to post before and it won't let me.

Anyone have this happen? I don't seem to be having a problem w/ my computer anywhere else. I don't know what the hec is wrong with it.x(

Good morning ladies,

Just waking my sleepy head up. This is a morning when I could sleep all day, but life won't let me! Well yesterday I finked out on doing legs and abs, so I will have to catch up today:p This will be when I get off work, go to PT and then take dd to jazz class! I will probably be home around 7:30. That doesn't make it easy to exercise!



Jane- Walking lunges I'm sure will wake you up in the mornings huh? I sure that is a major burner! Hope you have a good day!:7


Kali- Girl don't even mention any coremax. I still hate the word right now!:p And good luck on your running today! You can do it!:)

That is the same exact feeling that I had when I did the 400 walking lunges w/weights. My butt ached so bad that it felt like someone shot me there with a paint gun or something. Hamstrings ached too. Today I just feel like a train ran over me (DOMS everywhere). I have DOMS in my arms, hams from the Fiesta of Sweat and abs from 800 crunches. It felt great doing jumping jacks for 10 mins straight. Toe touches made me really dizzy though. LOL!

Sounds like your getting adjusted to the running. That is so awesome!!! I am going to do more running next month, but I want to stick my rotation for now.

~Charlotte- feeling run over huh? Thanks for coaxing me into running. I really am starting to enjoy it! I used to say "I will never be able to run!"

When do you start decorating? My son just asked me if we could start!
I'm having family over Sat. for pizza and cake for his BD so "he'll" be starting then I suppose. I ordered him a Halloween BD cake. I'll take a pic and show you. The lady that bakes them is amazing!

I went back to jazz and ballet class for 2 years when I quit drinking. My cousins (more like sisters) were teachers at this studio so I joined the adult class with them just for something to do. I did it for 2 years. It was A LOT of fun doing it again. And there is something about what dancing does to your body. I guess cause you're using the muscles differently.
My cousins just opened their own studio this week. I'm thinking of joining if they are going to have an adult class. Think I'm corny?

Well I am so glad you are enjoying your running. This time of year is so nice too for running. I am so happy for ya.

I will be decorating probably next Wednesday as I will be too busy on other days. That is just a good day for me to decorate. Maybe I will scare some people away! LOL!

Kali - I think that dance class sounds great. That has to be good exercise.

Charlotte - I am going to have to try one of your fiestas one of these days. If I'm sore from this Sept rotation, I'm sure I'd feel like I'd be hit by a Mack truck if I did what you are doing. I'll give it a whirl after this rotation is complete.


Kali, Becky, and everyone else too.... are we going to try to do a rotation together next month. This has motivated me so much. I know I can't skimp on anything because y'all are doing the same thing and "watching" me.:) It has really helped me... thanks guys.
 
Just popping in quickly to say good morning! I have no time...have to get Joey up, dressed and fed and be out of here in 30 minutes to get him to his doc appointment. FOUR shots today! UGH! Poor kid! ;( x(

Kali & Jane: Sounds like you guys are doing great on your rotation. I don't even remember which one it is that you ladies are doing! LOL The newest one??? Everything for the Christening is coming along nicely...haven't done anything since I did the favors...starting again tonight after DH gets home from work with a shopping trip to prepare!:)

Kim: Don't you hate it when you feel rushed to do a work out because you get home late from a busy day? Well, don't be like me and get mad and not do it at all! That's what I did on Sunday night and I shouldn't have. x(

Charlotte: You are such a nut that you gotta have DOMS EVERY DAY, I swear! Good job! }( :)

Jane~ I have to say.. I see and feel a difference doing a "Cathe" rotation rather than my own. And doing it together does help a lot. It's very motivational when you have accountablity partners.

So I'd definatley consider doing another rotation next month. We can see what Cathe has in mind or go thru the old ones and find something we all can agree on.

Hi Wendy! Awwwwwww. Poor Joey. :-(Matt just got his boosters this past summer and I felt horrible!!!
Glad everything's moving along for Sunday tho. Hang in there Girlfriend. :)

Sounds like a plan Kali. I totally agree about doing "Cathe" rotations rather than my own. This is my first and I am seeing and definitely feeling the difference. She has a knowledge I don't have to put together w/o's that work together.
 
Hello everyone,

Another 70 degree day here in Denver and I am loving it. The heat will be back though I fear. Well our dear Charlottte has a rest day in store for me but I am not feeling like a rest just yet. Not sure what I will do but most likely a run and uppserbody. My hamstrings are tight from my 500 walking lunges yesterday:) It feels good :)

Jane-I too did not want to get up this am. Especially when the night before I slept so poorly. However I have a client meeting this am. By the way I would love to live where I could hsve a horse :)
Kali-I am glad you are getting into running. Just do what you can. My neice takes ballroom dancing. They asked her to become a instructor so now she does both. She really enjoys it.
Charlotte-I can't wait to see pics of your house all decorated. Ha we both have doms today:)
Wendy-Let us know how Joey makes out after his shots. 4 POOR guy indeed!

Depending on what cathes rotation is for next month I may join those who are doing it. I loved her august rotation. Otherwise I will ask charlotte to hit me with another HARD one. Not to say that the one you all are doing isn;t hard.

Terri... I wouldn't dream of telling anyone how to go about their fitness regimen since I know I'm not qualified, but I am concerned about you. You are not sleeping well and could be overdoing it. Please take care of yourself. I only say this out of concern for you. I know when I overdo it, the first thing that goes is sleep. Be careful okay?

Ok. It's 11:20 am and I haven't done a damn thing yet. I fixed my computer which is a good thing, but I haven't worked out yet. I don't know ladies. I'm in a really good mood and just don't feel like going for a run and doing those lunges.

I had to take Matt's picture to the local paper for his BD and I took a nice ride.... Oh I am going to enjoy not working for a while yet!
Well I guess I better do something before it's time to go pick up the boys.

Kali.. do you need a push?;) How about doing 100 walking lunges, then a brisk power walk with no running, then finish up with 100 walking lunges. I know the feeling of just not wanting to do it, I've had it lots and lots of times.:p

I'm full of unsolicited advice today aren't I?:+ Please nobody take offense, it is with best intentions.:)
