Hi ladies.

We are back from the pediatrician's office...been back for a while actually. My little guy is 25 1/2 inches and 16.8 pounds! :+ He gets to OFFICIALLY begin on solid foods today. I didn't tell her I started him last week. :p He will be getting his morning and evening meals with cereal now...out of a SPOON no less! What a big boy!:+ Daddy will be sooo happy! He wanted to put him on cereal at 2 months old cause the kid has such an appetite! lol

Jane, I need a push. I feel like taking a nap already! :p

Kali, have you done your w/o yet?

A few our MIA today..where is Lori?

Well I got to get my bathroom cleaned, it won't clean itself. Then clean out car. I got dried up doggy drool all over the side of my window and so much hair in there from the two that I could make a sweater for myself.

Just ate some cottage cheese and fruit for my a.m. snack and Joey has just fallen off to sleep so I will be changing my clothes shortly and gettin' to it! Thanks Jane! :)

I can't believe it's already after twelve! I swear the days fly by anymore! Sooo much faster than when I was going to work every day! I hated my job though...and my commute even more...so I'm sure that's why the days seemed to drag then.
 
Ok I am back from my meeting. It's just after 11 am here so now I have to decide what to do today as far as working out.

Jane-I appreciate your concern and it makes me feel good to know that you ladies care. I will do something easier today then I have been doing and not over do it. You may be on to something with the lack of sleep thing. I promise this weekend I will take the rest day!

Charlotte and Kali-I appreciate your comments as well and I actually luaghed myself silly over the Green Berets comment!

Yes the days are flying by Wendy! Although being in here, we lose a lot of time too! LOL! Glad everything went well at the Dr's. That's so funny. We put our sons on cereal before they told us to too! Got them sleeping thru the night I'll tell you.

Well I did it. Thank you Jane! I ran for 35 minutes straight! NO walking. And I did my 200 lunges in a row no breaks! (in the house tho) I get 25 each way across my 2 living rooms.
I'll be doing Coremax 1&2 a little later.
It was sooooooooo hot out at noon. Never running at noon on a hot day again. I was going to chuck the lunges and was on my way upstairs and thought oh hell. So I did them and I felt great! I know I won't tomorrow, but that's ok! I don't know what it is, I just can't cheat!! It's like I know you guys would know! :7

So anyway. I'm off to get my sons in a bit. Going out with friends tonight. But not till around 9:00 so I'll be back later.

Kali... even though I suggested the power walk and breaking up the lunges, I KNEW you would get out there, get started, and go for it. I knew you'd run the whole time.:) We are a lot alike I think. :p

Great job. I am running later this evening. WeatherBug says it is 84 here now but with the humidity it feels 90. The forecast this morning actually called for 90 but there is so much cloud cover, it may not make it. It is still too hot for me to run at 3.

I think I'll do a little upper body work when I get off. KickMax gave me DOMS in the upper body but it is gone now.

Glad you are taking a rest day Terry and taking it a little easier. See if your trouble sleeping responds to the lighter w/o's.
 
Hi Everyone,
My first checkin of the day:eek: I was helping DH all day with getting door knockers around for and upcomming election.He is doing it to help a friend.So, I have walked for 3 1/2 hours today.Then I came home and took my normal nap (I like naps when i am off:) )
It is now almost 5 but I think I am going to go get a coffee and then workout while everyone else eats supper.I think if I keep putting my workout off...Im never gonna get it done!

Jane-I don't blame ya for puttin' the run off until later in the day. I know I wouldn't want to run in that kind of heat when I don't even like to WALK in it! ;)

Lori-That's it! You mentioned coffee so now I have to have me a cup as soon as I'm done eating the turkey sandwich I have in front of me! :9

My work out is (ALMOST) complete, girls. I will have to do abs later tonight but I did the Pyramids combo premix and C&W step only premix!

75 mins and over 700 cals! YIPPEE! }(

I had to stop before abs because Joey woke up and was crying. He's a bit cranky from his shots today. Giving him tylenol but when the dose wore out and he woke up I guess it hit him again. ;( I calmed him down, fed him and sat with him a while...now he's trying to go back to sleep.

Once I am done eating I have to jump in the shower (while my cofee is brewing! ;)). DH will be home soon and we have shopping to do today for the Christening.:)

I'll be back later though!
 
Yeah this is a good coffee:) I don't usually drink coffee in the afternoon but my nap was an hour long and now I feel like a zombie.I am hoping to get on the treadmill and go for a long run, plus do GS B,B&S and of course abs:) Hoping to get a shot of energy....anytime now!!
Must go put supper on for everyone else while I sip my coffee.

Hi Everybody!
This is probably too late to even post! I somehow missed the whole thread today, and posted only on Daily check in.

My workout went great! First the did the lunges in the house, going from one end to the other many times. Then I ran (jogged) 30 minutes plus a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. I did coremax yesterday so I did a segment of abs from CTX and added on #1 stretch from the new stretch dvd! A GREAT stretching segment for legs, which I can tell you guys, I NEEDED TODAY!!!!

I see everyone else did great too! Way to go Kali and Jane! And everyone else!
I love the way we are helping eachother. I might have considered walking part of my run, but then thought of you both RUNNING and knew I wanted to do it too!!

I'm all for doing a rotation again together! It works!!!!
How's everyone's eating today?
I'm doing fine so far.....don't know what's for dinner yet though!:eek:

Good job running! And with the lunges too! Aren't they hateful but great at the same time?

I'm doing good eating today too. I still have Coremax 1&2 to do. I'll be doing that around 7pm before I get ready to go out with some friends.

Tomorrow is KPC and I only have the Fittv version. So I guess I'll do SB with it or LowMax again. What do you guys think?

Ok I am back to report what I did today. I know I said I was going to take it easier and really for me I did. I did 2 cardios from ctx all step and 10 10 10. I was feeling good and didn't want to stop after the first cardio so I did another. I am going to do some upperbodt later, maybe :) Right now I am going to take a break from work and read the Kite Runner. I am hoping to finish it at the latest tomorrow. I is storming here now so I amm hoping that will relax me enough to read. I love thunderstorms!

Hey everybody... I just finished my 10 minutes of AB Hits. I chose the CTX Kickbox 12 minute segment and those planks were just plain evil. OMG reverse planks:eek: :eek: I've never heard of such a thing!! Oh well, I guess I'll have a lot of surprises on that Ab DVD since I don't have a lot of the w/o's they go to.

I also was feeling like some upper body work, so I did the upper body segments off of the Body Blast TimeSaver DVD with w/u and stretch from PUB. Let me tell you, those pushups are the toughest bar none, even Gym Style, that I have seen. I believe it is some of the bonus footage that just comes with the TS. Picture it... six count down pushups, two up with one arm rows... needless to say, this old girl was on her knees for those!!!

Becky... we have to do this again next month, Kali and I were talking about that. Along with anyone else who wants to join, the more the merrier!!

Wendy.. fantastic w/o and calorie burn!! That is one good feeling isn't it?

Kali - you did LowMax Monday to sub for KickMax, how about putting a little SB with your FitTV KPC tomorrow.

Terri - I swear woman, are we going to have to fly to Denver to tie you up!! :+ As long as you are feeling okay.... remember to take that rest day soon, ya hear. I need to get busy on the Kite Runner also. I am just getting into it.

Lori - I've got to get supper going myself....

Kim - are you getting any rain from Ophelia? We are cloudy here but it isn't from Ophelia. We are so far west, we aren't expected to get anything, maybe a sprinkle. We need rain bad!! I know you are closer to the coast than I am.

Charlotte - I see you got the car cleaned. I did that Sunday and it needed it. I cleaned inside and out and hopefully it won't need it for a while, not my most favorite thing to do.

Becky.... I'm eating good today... it is a deficit day. I am on day #18 of clean eating. This is a record. YAY!!

I don't know what the deficit day is .....? I don't count calories, just try to eat decent, and that's HARD ENOUGH most days!
Hi Terri!!....I LOVED the Kiterunner. Thought it was a great book and I'm very glad I read it. I'd recommend it to everyone!
Yes, tomorrow is KPC and I don't know if I'll do it again since I did it Monday in place of Kickmax.....any suggestions for other substitutions? Would CTX Kickbox with something added on work?
Kali, way to go on the running. Once you get started, it's really not so bad, is it? I think I want to make one day a week a running day.
 
Becky, I looked at the descriptions of KPC and CTX Kickbox. KPC is 68 minutes long with an ab section on the end. CTX Kickbox will be 49 minutes long with the ab section (and that is one tough one, I did it today off of Ab Hits). I didn't figure in the biceps work on CTX KB since it isn't on KPC. You would double up on some of the segments on KB to bring the total up to 68 minutes, you just need about 20 minutes more. What do you think?

Deficit day just means I am eating at 20 to 30% of what my calorie intake should be. I zigzag. Three days deficit, one day big calorie day, three days deficit, etc....:)
