Good Morning Girls,

I am getting ready to go home in the next hour. I am hungry and sleepy although, I slept alot last night:) No planes...lots of gains!:)
I made up my own rotation starting today and I don't think I should post it b/c it is a bit off the wall and is going to be very time consuming.I made it with my work schedule in mind.SO today is PLB,LM,MM Legs Seg and Abs. I think that should get my legs nice and warm:)
I did 1/2 of KPC yesterday and I put my ankle weights in my hands, and my shoulders are feeling it today!I thought they would.

Kim- I hear you on the eating.By the way my dress pants felt last night when I put them on....lets just say, I am back on the wagon.Hey,Im even driving the wagon! It is so hard and once I cheat I feel like the whole day was a lost cause.Obviously I have to find a balance somewhere.

Thats about it for me. Its nap time when I get home and my workout will be after lunch.

Kim - {{{{HUGS}}}}} The food and the exercise go hand and hand and when you are unable to exercise, it makes you more vunerable to bad eating. Just pick yourself up and start today. Try to get in as much time on your bike as you can even if it is just 15 minutes. That will help curb your appetite for the bad stuff.

Kim - the August 04 rotation looks good. The w/o's look a little long though, I need to go back and look again. I also checked out the July 03 rotation, again, I was tired last night and didn't give either one the attention it needed. I'll have a look this afternoon. Also we may want to wait and see what Cathe comes up with for October. If it is something we just do not want, I agree we need to have a backup ready to go!!

Wendy - I remember how much fun it was picking out all the food for my babies!!! I can relate!

Kim, You are NOT alone!!!! Please know this!!!

I rarely struggle with my exercise. I look forward to it because I know I will feel better afterwards, which usually propels me to do it even on days I think crawling back into bed looks MUCH better. That being said.....I struggle with food DAILY!!!!!!
My family has always loved food (I've said before that my parents live in the neighborhood and are always wanting to feed me, they invite us over to eat, out to eat and send home baked goodies over all the time! A few days ago my mom sent home a caramel apple pie, which SO FAR at least , I have avoided.....but I DID eat the white chocolate caramel ice cream that everyone else put on theirs, ACK!)

I tend to eat when I'm bored, and when I'm happy, or IF IT'S THERE....and I eat uncontrollably many months right before TTOM !

I do completely agree that it's a cycle and if you are exercising, your eating WILL be better , so riding the bike is a GOOD thing!!!! Before I found Cathe, I was so sick of my exercise tapes (not challenging enough and I'd done them all 1000 times), so all I did was walk and ride my bike and it is GOOD exerise! To make it less boring, I have my bike and treadmill in front of a tv and I tape shows no one else in the family likes and watch them while exercising....it helps make the time go by!

Mostly just know that everyone here has felt how you do at one time or another. Come here and talk to us and try not to be so hard on yourself !!!

Today is GS legs, I think and probably abs, although I need to check and Jane and Kali TODAY I will look thru the rotations and see what is interesting to me. It would be great to do one together again, it was very motivating and fun to check in with you each day and be doing the same thing!! :)

Thanks for your support. I sort of feel better this morning and hope to get my exercising in today. After work I go to the doctor and hope this boot comes off!

Jane and Becky, just let me know any ideas about the rotations. Maybe Wendy will join us too if she likes it. That'll be great! And when Kim is 100% I'm recruiting her to whatever we're doing at the time also. HEAR THAT KIMMY??? :p :7

Baby food is such fun Wendy. Wait till you get to the stuff that's almost like REAL food. It's so cute!! Yes I think we as Mommies enjoy it just a little more than the babies!! Hope he does well with them! :)

Lori what the hec kind of rotation do you have planned? PLB,LM,MM and WHATTT?? What the hell is that?? Are you sure your on the WAGON???? LOL! I'm just joking. Good for you. I'm glad you're more motivated. If I remember correctly, when we first combined these threads, you were pretty down. See what happens??? HMMMMM??? :+

Hello Jane, Charlotte, Nancy and everyone else! (I'm being lazy today!;) )

Today is cardio. Abs are an option but not a must today so we'll see what happens.

I got on the scale this morning and said WTF!?!? Then I used my Omron and it calmed me down a bit. My weight went up up up but my BF went down down down.

Weight is +3 pounds
Body Fat is -1%

I took measurements just to see and my waist and chest are up...I'm thinking TTOM is the culprit...it's probably on it's way. What fun! NOT!!!!! :p LOL

I am already eating breakfast...my intent is to get off this dang computer in about 20-30 minutes and do my w/o so that it's DONE and I can actually take my shower before 4 pm! LOL It's just sooo easy to sit here on my rump and drink coffee and bs with you all. }(

Not to worry. It is just water weight, I am sure. If your eating is on track and your workouts too, then your doing everything right! Second day for me to be at 117. I don't use the Omron much anymore because I haven't done any cardio so when I start running more, then I will use it again. I know yesterday it said 14.6% so I am happy about that.

Gonna be cleaning today. Not sure what else. My arms are still sore from bicep curls so was thinking of doing Legs and Glutes with KPC, but KPC will kill my arms and I like to do these two workouts together because they compliment each other so well. I might just do a fiesta of workouts that won't include arms.

Good Morning :)

I haven't exercised since Friday :eek: But in my defense I did a lot of walking on Sunday at the race, going to the different aid stations. We were up at 4:30 am and finally got in the car to drive home at 7 pm, then I had to be up at 4:30 am yesterday to work - needless to say, I was tired so no workout yesterday. Today I think I will do a circuit workout...BC maybe.

Sounds like everyone is doing well. Lori, your motivation is amazing! Your legs will be screaming tomorrow }( Be careful using the ankle weights with KPC though, 1-2 lbs. max to avoid joint injury. I've seen so many clients w/ shoulder injuries and they are rarely ever the same, even after years of physical therapy. Sorry if I sound preachy but I'd hate for you to have to limit your incredible workouts due to an injury! ;)

GS Legs are DONE~!

I forgot what a killer that floor work is for me!!!!!!
If I am remembering right, that is one of the few workouts Cathe does several different exercises (besides deadlifts) that target the BUTT and I could feel it and know I need to do it more often!!! :eek:

Am so glad it is OVER and I will ride my bike later for cardio!!

Hey Becky... I'm working til 4 today but I'm on it as soon as my butt leaves the chair!!;) I can't wait to have my daily baked apple smoothie in about an hour. Those things are addictive!!!
 
Hey ladies!

The pressure is off now. I don't have to worry about fitting into that dress anymore, because the wedding was on Sunday.

I'm going back to work today. It will be a long day of client meetings, lots of work and tonight I have some kind of professional seminar/wine-tasting thingie. I'm still really tired, but at least it will be a short week. I haven't worked out since Saturday.

Charlotte~~~I hope you are right about the water weight. I was only bad on saturday night and even that wasn't sooo bad. I just had a bunch of tortilla chips is all but that's it. I've been good otherwise. I took my measurements out of curiosity and my waist and boobs are up so I'm thinking TTOM is approaching and that is the culprit. This happened before and I got myself in a tizzy and that's all it was. After TTOM left, the weight left! :)

Becky~~~GS legs sounds sooo evil! }( I guess I should think about investing in that one, ey?

Shannon~~~Don't blame you for not working out after the looong days you have had!

Nancy~~~So how was the wedding?

Imax 2 intervals 1 through 7 + Body Max Step Section. 55 minutes of solid breathing! }( }( }( Actually going from IMAX to straight cardio was rather easy...IMAX made the BM step seem like a walk in the park! ;) I burned up just over 700 cals! :+ :7 :+

Okay, can't stay...gotta shower and then get my babe up!:+

Wendy, yes if you don't have GS legs, it's a good one to be thinking about. REALLY good extensive floor work on that one. I have a love/hate relationship with it!}(

I just rode my bike for 45 minutes, so cardio, and all of my workout is done for the day!
Now to the shower,.......and then fix my smoothie (yes Jane, baked apple it is!!) and then to run some errands! This is a busy week for me.....I am helping my mom cook for 100 people.....beef stew, corn bread, cole slaw and cake. She is doing all the stew, I am doing the corn bread, cole slaw and baking a cake.
All that and Friday (same day as her dinner) is my oldest daughter's 20th birthday and we are having them over for dinner.
Lots of cooking & baking going on this week at my house!

Sounds like it. And that monitor is taboo right now for you. Don't trust it either. BTW, I love the way my boobs look before TTOM cuz I ain't got that much.LOL! Anyhow, tortilla chips are not bad for you. Don't think they have that much fat in them. There are the baked ones too that only have 3g of fat. They have them in dorito form too so I can still have doritos too time to time.

One thing I was excited to find recently at Walmart Supercenter is FAT FREE vanilla soy milk!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! Now I'm hoping ff chocolate is next!!:9
 
Hey Guys!

Well, DH built me a full size step so I had to try it out so I did 2 combos from SB and then L&G's. Lori has me inspired, so I'm off for a powerwalk/run.

Wendy, TTOM reaks havoc on our bodies. Especially for you after having Joey. It takes a while for your body and hormones to adjust after that.
I think most of the forum has PMS. I know I do. I'm in a pretty good mood actually. I have an interview tomorrow at Target. I'm hoping WalMart calls me. They are a great co. to work for. I like retail. That's what I did for my last job. It's easy, and I'm good at it. So I really feel pulled to do it. We'll see what happens.

Im just finishing my coffee and am getting ready to workout.

Kali & Wendy- Are you guys calling me crazy? I said I was on the wagon...but I didn't say which one!:) Prehaps its the disturbed wagon! I remember one time, a few years ago, I think I called someone on the forum crazy and boy, did I get a beat'in for that one.Just one person in particular, I guess, she didn't like the word crazy:) I think she may have been a bit crazy to act like that.

Anyway...I am just doing the leg work in MM not all of it.Now that would be crazy...see I am not that crazy just doing PLB, LM and then just leg work from MM.Oh, and I am doing them in that order to.I think I am gonna be hurt'in.

Poor Lori...you get beat on for everything, don't ya? Some folks around here can be a bit much with thier reactions to certain posts. I think THEY need to be beaten for over-reacting!!! LOL }( :p

Anyway...Joey is down for his nap. I need to start some laundry and maybe even clean something! Imagine that!?! LOL :p I washed my kitchen floor yesterday. The bathroom one needs it so maybe I'll do that today...and vacuum. With a Golden Retriever in the house one can never vacuum TOO much! ;)

Feels good to not have the w/o hanging over my head. My day feels so free and stressless now-WHEEEEE! :+

I tried to take Joey for a walk before. It's GORGEOUS outside but quite windy...TOO windy...Joey wasn't happy. He was very sqirmy and moving his head all over the place. He's never like that on walks. They are normally totally relaxing for him so I turned around inside of 5 minutes and came back home. We played ball with Clyde instead. :)

Ok, I'm gonna go get some laundry started and make my coffee...I'll be back!

Oh, and BTW...I bought a box of splenda last night. I'm not crazy about it after all. When I tasted it straight from the packet at the restaraunt it seemed okay but now that I am using it in coffee it's a little icky tasting to me. I think I'm gonna use this box up and then just go back to sugar but I'm gonna try to cut back the amount I use in each cup of coffee.

I read that someone (Connie, I think) is going to switch around the workouts for the next couple of days and I see the logic and think I want to do that too.
The rotation calls for :
Today: GS legs
Wed. ME
Thurs. RS & abs
Fri. Low Impact Step & run

I am thinking about:
Today GS legs
Wed. RS & abs
Thurs. ME
Fri. low impact step & run


Alternating weight and cardio instead of doing them back to back.
What do you think?

Also, I still want to see what Cathe puts out for Oct. but I am thinking maybe June 05........see what you think of that.
 
You guys are so sweet.

The wedding was a smashing, resounding success. Everything was lovely. The kids did an awesome job. I haven't seen the pics yet, but I think my hair stylist and my make-up guy did a great job (I just hope the photographer caught me at the right angles!).

These two were made for each other, so I am sure that they will have a long and happy life together. I am SOOOO happy for my stepson. No one could be more deserving of the happiness he has finally found!
