Those Escalade Sports people really need to start retailing these. I want one so bad, but I doubt I'll get one the way the price gets jacked up on Ebay. It's already over $100.00. I guess I'll have to be patient and hope they are marketed soon.

I hope Escalade will market it soon. I do not need it that bad, but I would like to have it (i.e. I could do PS-Legs with just the stool... less lugging the risers around). Seems like SNM does not want to admit/deny whether that's (marketing the stool) in the works, but I am optimistic...

I really, really want one, too!! For me it would be ideal for so many different exercises.

I'm seriously thinking about printing out the directions to try to make one myself. If I use my current one to "cut up" into the mini topper and buy a new topper to replace it, it wouldn't be that expensive. I forget exactly where I saw the top platform cheapest (spriproducts.com?), but it would end up being a pretty reasonable price. That is, if I managed not to completely hack it all up! I'm no handyman (handywoman!) for sure, but I think I'm going to give it a try.

Isn't it amazing that the topper is already over $100 with 3+ days to go? And that's just the top--it doesn't include any risers. It will be interesting to see what it finally goes for!

I would love to make more ( and not for the money so much as because I know how much people want one ), but I can only do it when I find a used step at a decent price. That doesn't happen very often. And now that I'm pregnant, I don't know if I'll be making more until after the baby. It took me a lot longer to make this one ( over the course of 3 weeks ) because I've been so tired. Plus one of the adhesives ( the lilquid nails )probably isn't for me to be breathing right now. Lotsa' fumes. :-(

BTW, I'm always willing to answer any questions people have about making one, plus the instructions and pictures are posted online so anyone can download them. I'm not any more handy than anyone else, just nuts enough to have tried on my own that 1st time.

Would you be willing to direct me to a post you had (unless I was dreaming!) that was entitled something to the effect of "new directions for a mini step topper"? I really want to try to make one, but I can't seem to find the thread when I did a search.

Thank you so much for the link! You're such a doll to be so willing to help out with this--it makes it a little less daunting to know that I can ask for your help if I need it at some point during the project! I'm really looking forward to having a mini topper.
