Met Value

Hi Cathe/SNM,

As I was going through some of the tutorials on the new Workout Manager, I noticed a place , I believe, on the workout card or in the 1RM page about a Met Value. What exactly is that? By the way, My delivery is scheduled for TOMORROW!!!

It is a way of measuring the intensity of an exercise. An exercise like advanced aerobics has a Met value of 6.5 while walking at 3 mph has a Met value of 3.3. All exercises have Met values based on their intensity. The higher the intensity the higher the met value. We use this number in the WM to calculate calories burned.
