++ MELTING on a Muggy Monday! ++

Hi, I'm back for a bit:

I did another I-Tread this morning, trying to see if more cardio will trim some excess fat off this week. I know if I would just stop eating everything in sight, I would not have this problem.

Things are pretty quiet around here today.. the "Double K's" are behaving, just got back from a walk and the little K is sleeping at my feet as I type. ..well I just let Kelsey in and Keegan is tormenting her again..}( He is the proverbial pesky little brother!

Well off to start the day!

Deb:)

Morning Deb and all who follow:

Just wanted to say good morning and let y'all know that I don't pee in the shower:p

Morning ladies

Just finished Slow and Heavy chest and triceps. Ouch. Will do a half hour cardio at the gym at lunch today too. Hopefully, if work is not too busy.

BBL

Goodmorning MMs.

While I HAVE peed in the shower, I NO LONGER pee in the shower.

And I am an ESTJ. I think I may be the only E here? Maybe I need to go find another check-in? No way. I love all you I's.

Leanne, thanks for the link to the story. I read it this morning. I think I must have read it sometime in my educational past, because it seemed so familiar.

Deb, sounds like Keegan is starting to slow down. Just a little. Well, maybe not, if you ask Kelsey.

I'm toying with the idea of doing one of Cathe's circuits today. I hate doing circuits. We'll see.

The other chore for today is to pick out paint for the family room. I guess DH is really going to get started with the project. He plans on repainting the familyroom and his "office," which is just a space between the familyroom and the rest of the house. Then he wants to rip out the stinky, cat-peed upon carpet (they don't pee in the shower) and replace it with hardwood floors. I have a feeling it's going to be like one of Kara's projects, only worse, because DH is a s-l-o-w worker and tends to procrastinate. I'm going to go see what kind of inspiration I can find on the internet. BBL.

Just hopping on quickly to say "good morning" and to share this latest link about the new forums http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=2&topic_id=86565&mesg_id=86565&page=

And I do pee in the shower--heck, pee's sterile. (I thought about putting an appropriate smiley here for that, but decided even for one who's a shower-pee-er, that might be too much.)

No particular plans today other than keeping the kids happy indoors (it's raining). I still haven't decided on a workout but I might flip the days a bit to do cardio instead of weights today because I am still sooooo sore.

OK time to get more coffee and eat breakfast. http://planetsmilies.net/eat-drink-smiley-5159.gif

Be back soon.

Morning All!:)

OK, I don't pee in the shower all the time....;) :p

Deb, I am right there with ya with the extra cardio, I feel so guilty with my own eating habits lately, that I feel the need to add some extra
oomph to my own program. My joints may not agree with my decision though..}( Is Keegan a mama's boy? Does he follow you around all day? Georgie does that with me...he is like my big black shadow.

Shelley, mornin' sunshine, please hang out more this week okay?:)

Robin, Your extrovert self adds a nice balance to our introverted group!I am crossing my fingers your DH will "get a move on it" with the stanky carpet project...Is it tough to rip up old stuff and lay new carpet down? I am clueless with home do it yourself projects..

Lainie, you are so cute, yes, pee is sterile isn't it? Well, except when one eats asparagus, then it just stinks.:p That has nothing to do with being sterile though, and I really need to stop talking about pee.:7 You must have killed those muscles! Good job.;)

Allison, *whistles* the boy is beautiful!:7 But he pales in comparison to you my dear. You are so adorable, you are a tiny thing!:) Is that the Brooklyn bridge in the background? Did you guys get out much this weekend?;) Does he workout too?

Hi to all the other lovelies this morning...I hate change, the message board thing, but I know its supposed to be better and all that...

Today is cardio, probably an itread followed by a light leg workout...bbl

OK, I’m back, fed and watered (or coffee-ed). Much better. I’ve also managed to feed and juice the boys (wait, that didn’t sound quite right).

I am feeling very sleepy today—weird since I slept almost 8 hours. Well, not weird for me since I am tired so often.

I still haven’t decided what my workouts will be this week or even today! Help! I’m considering using 4DS premixes to do a 3-day split (because I prefer 3 days of weights, 3 days of cardio and keeping them separate). But I’m also still thinking of using Amy Bento’s Slo-Mo workouts. The advantage of Slo-Mo is today or tomorrow I could do Back & Shoulders so it won’t involve the biceps or triceps which are still so sore (though I will probably feel them even doing back and shoulders).

Deb, I’m glad Kelsey and Keegan are being relatively behaved today! I hope my kids will also be good today (so far so good).

Shelley, good morning, non-shower-peeing-show-off!

Peggie, way to go on the early S&H workout. I’m still aching from doing S&H last week!

Robin, good luck with picking out paint colors and I hope your DH works faster than usual—though maybe that slowness is just him taking extra care, which would be good, right?

Allison, oh, what a cute pic of the happy couple! I’m glad you had a great weekend!

Man, I had to interrupt my post to clean up poopy pants. Ugh.

Tneah, We will work together on the change of the board thing! You will do fine. I was thinking maybe while we were offline, people could come chat in the comments section of my fitness blog. Or maybe I could figure out a way to add a little chat thing on the sidebar…. Hmm, something to think about.

Breckie, it’s like we were separated at birth. OK, just as far as personality type goes, anyway. I alternate so much between INFP and INFJ myself. I have also tested as a T instead of an F before, but this time I came out as very very F. Weird. So yeah, we’ve got some multiple personalities going on—maybe that’s part of being us.

OK, bbl to catch up with everyone else. Must go put on the workout shoes and figure out what the heck I’ll do today. Any advice?!?!?

Good morning, all!

I need to get my eating back in line -- the last couple of days have not been good! Today I have PUB scheduled again, and I think I'll add in some cardio -- maybe 4DS LIS or HIS.

BIL has an interview at another temp agency this morning, and hopefully something will come of this. Last night, when we were all at dinner, he did say that he had been looking at apartments yesterday afternoon when we were at brunch. Of course, he can't get an apartment unless he has a job . . . .

So instead of "nipple," it sounds like "pee" is our word for this week! :)

What a great idea to keep in touch via Lainie's blog when the forum is down! Would you mind setting that up, Lainie Bug?

Deb -- LOL about not eating = fat loss! If only it were that simple, huh?!

BreckGirl -- LOL about the multiple personalities!

Shelley -- Now I would have thought for sure that you'd be a pee-er! ;-) How are you doing? Are things OK with Chris??

Robin -- Are you off all this week on vacation? Our lone E, huh? No way are you leaving our group! Glad that the cats don't pee in the shower either. ;-) Isn't that a lovely story? I taught it again this past semester, and my students all just love it. How exciting that DH is going to get started on that project, and hopefully it will get done quickly.

Lainie Bug -- Good idea about doing cardio if you're still sore! Your body could probably use another day away from weights. That's too funny about finding an appropriate smiley. Yes, what shall we all do when the forums are down?! ETA: We were posting at the same time! I love the idea of keeping in touch on your blog, if you don't mind having us all hang out there! :) Oh, I'm still thinking that some cardio might be good today -- maybe some kickboxing that uses your arms a bit. I find that when I'm sore in the arms/chest/back, some kickboxing helps stretch out those tight/sore places really well.

Allie -- That picture of you and Jim is wonderful! He is such a cutie, and you two look so happy together! Glad you had fun! When you have time, you'll have to let us know what you saw over the weekend. Like Tneah said, you are so tiny and adorable! :)

Peggie -- Glad you had fun for your mom's b-day and for that cook out! I'm tired just thinking about all those kids! Good idea about BIL getting a job at Lips! ;-) How did you like S&H? It's one of my favorite series! Were your arms "shakin' like a chihuahua" during those triceps dips? ;-)

Tneah -- Sorry that you haven't seen Emma for so long. Will you be able to see her and your other nieces sometime soon? I love "different and unusual" folks, too! You and Mitch might really like going to the place we went -- it was so much fun! Here's the website: http://www.lipsshow.biz/. The Gospel Brunch that we did was a riot! Your dinner last night sounded so yummy. I need to join you on stopping with those carbs, too! I'm also feeling a little stressed about the change in the forums. New technology always throws me off! I'm going to email you, babe, about our plans for Wednesday! Can't wait!

I'll BBL to say "hi" to everyone else!

Ahhhh, Allie, you and Jim make an adorable couple! Thanks for the picture.

Tneah, pee, nipples and introverts? What have I gotten myself into? LOL. From what I understand, the carpet removal and flooring replacement shouldn't be too hard. I think it's sort of like the Nike slogan - Just do it. Besides, DH's best friend is a wizard at all things do-it-yourself, and he may help. I really hate the idea of living in a chaotic mess for a week or longer though.

Lainie, thanks for that link. I couldn't find it yesterday. The only thing about the message board that worries me is how hard will it be to navigate? I'm a total computer dweeb. Oh, and will be lose our post counts? That will kill some of us, won't it Shelley;)

I'm all done with High Step Challenge and headed for the shower. I have to get DH moving too. He woke up with a nasty sore throat and is moving extra slow today.

Oh I love the idea of use chatting on Laine's blog, fabulous idea darling!:)

Peggy, I missed your post! Good job on the workout girl. Wish mine was done already!

Shelley, you shouldn't lose your post count, did you see the reply on the other forum?

Leanne, I PM'd ya...can't wait til Wednesday, it will be fun, we just need to relax and be ourselves, its just weird making the switch from online to real life, well maybe not, I worry too much don't I?

Robin, I know, you would think I was a total extrovert, I think I am on our thread, but not so much otherwise. Good thing DH has help, is there a door you can close to the downstairs? Hope so, out of sight, out of mind right?*gasp* You did high step challenge? That is my least fave Cathe workout, I hate that weird ponytail deal and they have a strange color happening, and I hate the high step. If there was a "hate high step" thread, I would be the first to post on it. But the abs are good in that one if I remember right. Hate is a strong word in regards to Cathe of course, but you know what I mean...

Where is Shannon?

I need to get it going this morning...

I’ve decided I’m going to do my workout when Ewan naps today—too hard when they are both underfoot (and Ewan likes to be literally underfoot). The high is only 80 today so at least it won’t be too hot in the afternoon. I think I’m going to do Rhythmic Step today and do weights again tomorrow. That way I can wait longer to decide what workouts to do this week and I can give my muscles a little breather before I start lifting heavy again.

Hey, guess what, I’ve set up a forum to go with my blog. I don’t know if it will be necessary for much else, but I thought we could use it to chat while our Cathe forums are down. Anyone want to come try it some time? It’s at http://fitnessfig.forumer.com I love playing with new web toys.

Shelley! Why did you have to cancel the RT? Is it a money thing? Are you sure you don’t want to change to August? I would so love to meet you! Or maybe you can just come here and spend a weekend with me and I’ll work out with you? I know, not the same. Please don’t cry. If you do, I’m going to cry with you and Allie, too.

Tneah, I am more extroverted on our thread (and in other realms of cyberspace) than I am in real life. In my case I just write better and more quickly than I talk. In person I am soft-spoken and tumble over my words a lot. As for the high step, I like to use my Bosu in place of the high step. I really hate step-ups or whatever they’re called, though. I blame my knees when I skip them.

Robin, I saw that Shelley asked on the forum change thread and Chris told her the post counts should remain, so rejoice in that.

Leanne, hmm, kickboxing does sound like a good idea; might loosen me up. Maybe I’ll do that (the good thing about working out in the afternoon is all the time to decide.

LOL – Lanie is “juicing” her boys. And why are you poopy in the middle of your post? LOL Sorry – feeling a little dorky today. (“Today?” Asks her other personality… “what do you mean TODAY???”) What did you decide your workout to be? Rainy days can be fun… though hopefully nobody will feel stir crazy.

I’m on the van today. We have a lonnnnnnnng drive, so we’re stopping at a Starbucks. I need some caffeine. I did get my arse outta the bed at 4 and did CC on the bike. I can’t believe how NOT good at the bike I am. I used to be a spinning machine back when I took classes at the gym. Now I can hardly get the pedals around. Hmm. I did stand and climb quite a bit, so worked my tushie.

Shelley – did I scare you off with my jumping up and down? Hope to see you around a little more. What’s going on with SO?

Tneah – emailed Mrs Trainerman my questions. Will anxiously await the reply. I’m a little nervous!!!!

Leanne – thanks for the sweet story! I read it on the van this morning. I vaguely recall reading it before, too. Funny, because the only short story I remember immediately is from jr high, something like “The Lamb to the Slaughter” where this chick kills her husband with a frozen lamb shank or something and then cooks it. It’s in the oven when the police are there, she invites them to stay and they eat the evidence. One about survival, one about death. I’m such a puzzle. Interesting THAT would be the one I remember, eh? Perhaps filing a method away for BIL and CC...
And you and Tneah will be fabulousity on Wednesday! Can’t wait to see pics and hear stories!

To pee or not to pee… :7

Deb – how’s the yogurt-feeding going? Which 2 iTrains did you do? My INTENTION is to do a second cardio when I get home today. We’ll see how THAT goes.

Hi Peggie! Good job on the S&H. I do love those workouts, but not for too long. :p Have a great day at work, and we’ll seeya later!

Allie – GREAT pic! You look so dreamy and happy! }( Can’t wait to hear more stories.

Robin – our lone “E”. Don’t you DARE leave us. Could DH be faking his sore throat to get out of painting? Just kidding. Sorry to hear he’s feeling puny. Paint fumes won’t help that, though! :(

Yeah, where IS Shannon? Shannnnonnnnnnn!!!!!!!

Let her pee, let her pee! Let her pee, oh let her pee! Speaking words of wisdom, let her peeeeeee… :7

OMG - all this going on while I was posting...

SHELLEY - what happened???? Can I help? Honestly honey, I will if I can.;( ;(

Shelley -- Oh no!!! You had to cancel the RT?? I'm going to cry with you, Allie, and Lainie! Can we pitch in and help out????? I am SOOOO serious about that. Did you already cancel or are you just thinking about it? Please let us help!!!!

Tneah -- Just emailed you back, babe! Can't wait until Wednesday! :)

BG -- Wow! You worked out at 4:00 this morning?! I'm in such awe over you early exercisers! Oh, I remember that "Lamb to the Slaughter" story, too! I forget who wrote it . . . . I always have my students read "dark" things and I think they think I'm a little psycho. :9 So are you seriously thinking about doing Tneah's program with Mr. Trainer? How cool!

Lainie -- OMG -- your forum is so cool! I'm constantly in awe over your computer skills! Rhythmic Step sounds like it would be fun today, too, since I know that's one of your faves! :)

Yes, like Shelley said, I think Shannon is taking the day off from work to do errands. Hopefully she'll have good luck if she goes car shopping! :)
