***Melting away from Figgyville***

Hi,

I finally got in to the new forum... I had a hard time with the password re-new thing. like a lot of people I guess... I have to say, I am not one for change and I am having a hard time with this! Where are the smilies? Do I have to Title all my replies? How do I get the font smaller so I don;t spend all my time scrolling across and back to read everyone's posts?

Waaa....sorry...I am a whiner today....I promise I will be back tomorrow in better spirits!

Deb

Good evening friends! I think the more I fool around with this site, the more I screw up my profile. I will have to work on it tomorrow. I want to add pics and stuff too! Thanks for all of the help with the emoticons!

I am in the middle of making dinner, but was thinking of all of you. It is nice to see Deb made it online and that Peggie is back! We missed you guys!

Good job on the blog, Tneah! I will have to check it out!

Shelley, thanks for the push to add in Crossfit. I am determined to go to the site and figure out how to do that!

Leanne--I just wanted to give you more (((HUGS))) and reassurance that you are not a witch! Good for your DH!!!!

Back to dinner. Take care!

Kara

Hi melters. I'm home, happy to see the new forums are up and equally happy to have my password in place. I love being a senior member! Or is that a comment on my age? I will admit to being intimidated by all the changes. Hope I can figure it all out. I just spent about 30 minutes trying to get my avatar up, but can't seem to find a valid URL. I'll give it a whirl another day.

We had a good trip, but I'll never go to the Festival again. Just as I feared - too crowded, too noisy, too easy to drink too much. I'd much rather have a nice quiet tasting, then drive down a scenic road past vistas of vineyards and the lake, to another quiet tasting. We visited my favorite winery this afternoon, took a leisurely drive around Kekuka Lake, then headed home.

Sorry for being very selfcentered tonight, but I'm too tired to try to catch up with the weekends going ons. I hope all are well. See you tomorrow, melty friends.

Hi, all,
I'm sorry I haven't posted much today -- I've been around, checking everything out, but I guess I felt a bit resistant to all the change -- somehow not posting made me feel better or something?? I don't know. I've been foul all day, too -- for no apparent reason.

BG -- you TOTALLY captured my feelings about all this in your most recent post on Lainie's forum.

Leanne -- Gorgeous necklace! Darling picture of DH & Clementine.

Tneah -- my girls and I had fun looking at your pictures today; they were especially impressed by your "endowment" -- they were genetically endowed with extreme flatness! (I hope that didn't sound creepy.) Somehow I feel less comfortable "letting it all hang out" here like we used to in the old forum.

Peggie -- I'm glad you had a good visit with your daughter.

Lainie -- I miss Figgyville. I hope you don't mind if I ask for your help in using some of the features of this site. I haven't even really looked at the WM yet.

Hi to everyone else! I promise I'll catch up on personals tomorrow. I just wanted to say "hey!" before the day ended.

I hope everyone is back with us tomorrow. I walked outside to look at the sky at sunset -- I could see the pink clouds out the front windows. It was beautiful and made me think of Shannon's watercolors.

Have a good evening.

Hi ladies,

Oh, I feel the same way about the forums! I'm sure they'll become familiar very soon, but I feel totally out of sorts, too, and it's put me in a bad mood. I loved exploring people's blogs today, but I still can't get into the Workout Manager. Yesterday, I could see the 1RM calculator-thingy, but today it's given me an error message every time I try to get in. UGH! I think Breckie's right -- most of us Melties are feeling a bit overwhelmed with all this new technology!

Did you ladies see that Amy B. has posted a preview video for ASC3 on her website? I just watched it, and it looks like so much fun! I hope it gets mailed out soon.

Breckie -- I totally agree with what you said over at Figgyville, too! It IS creepy to see all that info about who is posting and when.

Deb -- Sorry that you're so frustrated with this, too! At least you got logged in now, right?? I'm not sure how to make the font smaller . . . .

Kristi -- I'm in that same upset mood as you! We'll get used to the new look soon, though, right?! Would you mind posting the site again where you found those adorable KOS pants? I'm going to send back one pair of the Nike cargos, and thought I could replace them with the KOS pants . . . . Your sunset sounds like it was so beautiful!

Robin -- Glad you had fun, despite the crowds! We missed you!

Kara -- Thanks for the good wishes! How was dinner?:p

Leanne, what darling pictures! And your necklace is simply beautiful, what a great talent you have! Seriously! And you are NOT a witch for wanting BIL outta there!!! Oh please. That man should have stayed two weeks tops.
DH and I have our own little '3-day" rule around our house. Three days is as long as anyone has the right to stay at your house, its just long enough for you all to have a good time, and short enough, that your guest will look forward to coming back, instead of you both wishing they would go already--kinda like the BIL has done with you and your DH.

I had a very blasse day....nothing you can do when AF is acting up, so lying around, eating salad like a good girl---even though I wished it was like pasta with big old meatballs and garlic bread, now that sounds good.:D
I played around with the site a bit, I probably will not use all the features out of sheer laziness, but the blog is cool, I will record my workouts there,,,until I lost interest of course.;) A good night to all you guys, Robin was not here yet huh?

Hi everyone. Feeling a bit grumpy now because I can't get the nutrition software to work, though I paid for the Premium Membership. :(

Hope to be back with more to say tomorrow.

Oh gee Lainie I was hoping to hear how you liked it.

I have a feeling I will try it out eventually myself but I'm still tracking with the e-tools. Wondering if it will be better?

Tneah (& Leanne) -- DH & I TOTALLY agree with your 3 day rule. As my 90 year old grandmother-in-law says, "Fish & houseguests both start to stink after 3 days. :D
