Kristi - how's the computer situation?

Leanne - work is... well, right now it's dead slow! LOL! I'm about ready to go nuts. It should be busy right now, but some jobs have moved along a lot faster than I expected. Sigh. That's funny about 4DS - I'm just the opposite. I love the weights but am not too fond of the cardio. I like HIS, but it's too short. It needs to be a full hour like SB or something.

Lanie - why don't you keep Isaac home tomorrow and say he's sick? :7 That way, the school can meet their required number of days, but you don't have to mess with it.

Robin - YAY!!! You and DH have a wonderful evening on Saturday!

OOOOOOKAAAAAYYYY.... I have one hour and 27 minutes left until I can go home. Somebody come and talk to me, please. :7

Once I make the hour-long drive home, I'll feed the horses, visit Mom for a few, and then work out. At last! I'll finally be able to move. I should have been born about 100 years ago or so, when people still had to get up off their duffs to earn a living. I think it would have been a lot more fun.

My computer nerd is gone. (yes, he was actually from a place called "Computer Nerdz" and the dispatcher actually referred to him as my "nerd" when she called to tell me he was running late.) I couldn't work out before he got here, then he was running late, then he left for lunch so he wouldn't have to charge me while we waited for something to download, then he returned and finished up, so now maybe I can finally work out! It's a long boring story, but he believes it was an issue with my anti-virus software. So he took it off and installed something different. I hope he fixed it.

I agree with you, Shannon, about living long ago. I am just glad today that my official job title does not contain the word "nerd."

Just popping in for a minute to say hi. DH just talked to his brother, and it looks like they'll all be descending on us in about an hour. Eek!

Hey Shannon -- What can we do to occupy you for the last part of the work day? Hmmm . . . let's talk about something fun . . . like . . . where is the best place you've ever visited? Oh, that's lame. How about . . . what specific time period would you like to live in and why? Sorry that work is dragging! :-( Hope you have a great visit with your mom! Is she making any special treats for you?:9 Be sure and give her and your dad lots of hugs!

Lainie -- I'm with Shannon -- keep Isaac home from school tomorrow! That was actually my first thought, but wasn't sure that that would be kosher. I hope Brian makes it back home tonight so he can go with you! Have you been enjoying your alone time? It sounds like you're too busy to do so! Oh, and is your patio done? How did it turn out? Post some photos! :)

Kristi -- LOL about your nerd! That is so funny. Yes, I agree that I'm glad that our job titles don't include the word "nerd." Of course, I'm thinking about my DH and me, and maybe the jobs of English professor and math teacher are actually synonymous with "nerd." Hmm . . . I don't want to ponder that one for too long!:+

I think that we're going to go grab an early dinner when Mike's family gets here, and then his parents will probably be here all evening. I'll see you all bright and early tomorrow! Love and hugs to everyone!
 
Hi friends! How are you?

Nothing much has changed here. I took Emma to a pottery place and she took TWO hours to paint her mermaid! She knew I had errands to run before swimming so I think it was deliberate! :p So, the errands are still on my agenda. x(

MY computer nerd just walked in the door, so I must skedaddle! }(
