Meet Mishka my german shepherd puppy!

I have always loved German Shepherds..and I am such a softie for puppies!! Good Luck with Mishka, she is adorable!

Mishka is adorable!! She looks like my previous dog, Bear, who was part Shep and part wolf and 100% crazy, but I loved him for 12 years. Shepherds are such intelligent, loyal dogs. I agree with the other posters about socializing the heck out of her!!! Have fun!!

My Yellow Lab Casey is sending Mishka a big slobbery puppy kiss!:D

Janie,
I'm so excited for you!! I hope things go smoothly with Mishka!

Remember her window for socialization is open until about 16 weeks so make sure you expose her to everyone/thing that you can in a safe and secure way before then.
Hugs and best wishes!!
Lisa

Yeah! Hi Lisa!! Hey I've missed you! I'm way ahead of you, . . remember I've printed out and kept all your PM's of advice! :)
The breeder has been great really supportive, . . and he hand picked her for us. I'll keep ya posted.

Too precious Janie!!! I'm so happy for you! :D:D:D:D:D
I'm telling you now....keep lots of chews around for teething! Teething can get crazy! I've gone through 50 cow trachea and at least 50 Texas toothpicks (but Maximus is chewing these with Isabella for moral support:p). The Texas Toothpicks seem to give her the most relief. I think it's because she can sink her teeth into them.

Thanks everyone! For all the well wishes! :)

Hi Cynthia, . . .where on earth do you buy a cow trachea? Are Texas Toothpicks like bully sticks only softer?

I buy bull trachea and Texas toothpicks from this company-

The TP's are sort of a firm spongy outer part with a bone in the center.

I just noticed they are trachea from a bull....is a cow the same as a bull?! LOL Oh my....

Hi,

Aww she's adorable. I can't resist German Shepherds. I had a alpha male named vader for ten years and he was a sweatheart but a protector. He had to be put down in the spring of this year. I was so distraught to lose my four legged furry baby I had to get another one. We got Ares at six weeks old. He's now six months old and definitely shows signs of being a alpha male, he's sweet also very protective. He loves to chew and play. Ares is so cute and so much fun to watch play he makes me laugh and smile every day. I love German Shepherd furry kids, they are a great breed.

Enjoy your new furry kid, she's a cutie pie.

Hugs!

Nora
