MEANER LEGS! IS RIGHT!

I don't think I had one single coherent thought throughout the entire legs segment! She moved so d*@! fast from one exercise to the next that I didn't have TIME to think anything! All I could do was wipe sweat and pant like a dog (now I really understand the relief dogs get from panting!)and by the last set of calf raises (there are 4 sets in case you weren't aware), I could barely lift on my toes, and then the cruelest joke of all~NO THEY DON'T LOSE COUNT AND HAVE YOU DOING EXTRA!
And the abs, don't have a clue because while they were knocking out abs I sat my big a** down on my step and was still trying to recover from the legs segment! At this point I realized my last actual coherent thought was way back at the warm up when I said to myself, "wonder how tough this will be?"
This is also when I looked up and realized, "oh, she's doing abs huh?"
I've done MIS legs, PowerHour legs, PS legs and S&H legs, but they do not compare to what I just endured. THIS is a killer leg workout! No wonder there's no cardio before this one!

p.s. having said all this, I can tell that this will become one of my favorite workouts~just not today :)
 
Great Job, Donna!!!! That is a tough tape. Keep up the great work. It is funny how you said you don't think you had one coherent thought through the whole thing. I felt exactly the same way the first time I did it!!!

Donna: your post was hilarious! Especially the part about sitting your 'big a**' down on the step - that so sounds like something i would say. :)
anyway, i've had LL since it came out and have been too intimidated to even try it so be proud of yourself!! Nice job. And i thought the leg portion in power hour kicked my a**!!

Let me just say usually I don't feel anything until the next day. This tape, not only did I feel it during, which the hovers and back lunges off the board were the worst for me, but the next 2 days I'm feelin' it. It's hard to do any cardio the next day. the calf raisers were the least of my troubles.
yeah, it's mean alright. But after doing it, I felt well I must need this the most and put it right in my rotation. I abuse myself with it weekly. ;-)
and I also thought at the end, this is why there's no cardio on the tape. :-tired

Same here, I usually don't feel the burn, especially with lower body workouts until the next day, but this one is different!
I felt it while doing it, I'm feeling it now (4hrs after), and I'm really afraid of what it will feel like in the morning! My glutes, quads and hamstrings are SINGING! And that is rare for me, I love working my lower body, but this workout is going to take some getting use to!
You know, the real tip off to this workout is the warm-up~notice how she doesn't jump around, no swaying arms, no fancy or dancy steps, just straight out squats and squat variations?
Tomorrow my rotation calls for the Xtrain All Step format, hope I can move!:)

This is her best leg tape, IMO. Not for the faint of heart, but for the mushy of leg. That's me! I love it because I know it works. Sort of like laying off the goodies, you do it because you know it works.

And Donna, I couldn't have explained Meaner Legs any better!!! I never felt so glad to be doing abs like I was during LL

Well, I did this tape yesterday, and my hams & glutes are very angry with me today. Sitting, standing, walking, sleeping... I feel sore during it all. It's the good sore though. I thought I'd be able to run this morning. HA!! My entire lower body is saying "we quit! we're not doing ANYTHING anymore if you put us through that torture again!" but you know that means I'll be doing LL again next week!! I ended up doing S/H bi's and tri's this morning to take my mind off my sore glutes

Meaner Legs rocks! Yes it's hard, torturous and painful, but it does such good things for us!!! How can cellulite survive during all those low-ends????
