Man demands kidney back

LOL - no wonder she cheated on him and filed for divorce, he's irrational. Funny what soon-to-be-exes ask for when it gets to that. I've been separated from mine for over a year and STILL don't have a legal separation because of the outrageous things he's asking for. Every time I make a concession, he asks for something more. You really get a good insight into what's important to that person....mine was all about money. Probably if I had one of his kidneys, he'd ask for it back too. Of course, he can't even handle donating a pint of blood, so this situation would have never happened to me.

Hope he hasn't donated any other body parts!

Maynard wants his nuts back too but that ain't happenin'!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Tami, I always thought Maynard was your son! ROTFLMAO!

Donna, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Mine was a breeze--I had to pay for it but I was happy to. I can only imagine the emotional stress this is causing you.

I'm glad you have a young studmuffin to make you feel better. ;)

Now I'm the one laughing!!!:eek::eek: He's my goofy Chocolate lab!!
That's his daughter in my picture!!

Not sure which is worse - me neutering my son or naming him Maynard! Apologies to anyone who has relation named Maynard!!

Ehhh...I'm emotionally fine with it. He is known by my friends and me as Stan now. Stan = Stanley = Stanley Tools = Tool. He's a tool. har har. The longer it drags out, the longer it is before I actually have to pay him alimony. He knows about my "studmuffin", and doesn't make a deal out of it. Whatever.

Oh craaaaaaaaaaaaap! I had the same worries about alimony. My ex is an elementary school PE teacher & I was afraid he was gonna try to bleed me dry.

That's so funny about the nickname--my friends call my ex-BF RB. Short for Rat Ba$tard. ;)

Isn't this guy incurring some fairly serious medical risks by having his kidney detached and reattached a second time? How often can a kidney be moved around anyway? If his wife's body has been maintaining it all this time, surely it must have some of her DNA on it by now, and he might need to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of his life!

I agree this guy sounds nutters.

Well - to clarify - he is not wanting his kidney back - he is just wanting some compensation or something in the divorce to account for that. She cheated on him - AND wants to divorce him AND still wants half of everything in the divorce... including full spousal support... He risked his life and longevity of his life for her - for her to cheat on him and leave him later... so there is a second side to the mess... The headlines just make it sound a whole lot more absurd... :)

Now - I certainly know that there are no guarentees in anything.. .blah blah... :):) so no flames... just giving the details...

His lawyer was on Howard this morning spelling it out - the gang was all against him and calling the lawyer crazy until he layed out the details - then they all were on the guys side...

Thank you Anne, I agree. I think she's pretty scummy for cheating on a man who loved her so much that he would give part of himself, literally, to her.

Well, I don't think we'll ever know the true story of what went on in their marriage so I don't really want to judge either one (though I do think this is taking spite a bit too far). I saw the story on CNN this a.m. & what they said was he either wanted the organ back or he wanted $1.5 mil for it.

They said legally he's not gonna get either b/c you can't put a monetary value on a kidney, or any other body part for that matter (I think some plastic surgeons might disagree ;))

He says he's doing it because he is in so much pain from the separation (I'm sure it's not at all because he wants some sort of revenge on her). Do I hear sappy violin music?

If he wins his case (doubtful), I'm sure it will be a monetary settlement, because it would be hard to find a kidney to transplant into the wife.
