Hello everyone!

I went to my doctor for the first time on Tuesday, and I really liked her, she spent alot of time with us which was great. We have a due date of Feb 2nd, Groundhog Day.

I'm really excited because she said I can still ride horses so that makes me really happy. She also said working out like I already do is just fine as long as I feel good. Even the more high impact stuff is okay in the beginning so that's good to know. She did think it was a good idea to cut out things that bring me to my anaerobic threshold which makes sense. For those of you who run, my doctor said it was still okay to do that though I'm not a runner.

Saturday I did Power Circuit and left out the blasts, Sunday I did IMAX2 without the blasts and an old Tamilee Webb workout that was lower intensity/impact, Tuesday I did Push/Pull and yesterday I was too tired to workout. Tonight I'll probably do Low Max, I haven't done that one much or for a long time so that will be a good one, I can cut out the blasts if my heart rate gets too high.

What workouts are you guys doing? What are you doing for abs?

So is anyone else older like me? I'm 35 :p ;( and this is my first.

I hope this check-in keeps going, it's great to have the support!

Hi congrats! THat is great that you can still do all those things you enjoy! I still do Imax 2, I just don't work as hard on the blasts. That is really a fun workout, I think mostly because Cathe seems like she is really having a fun time. I miss P90X...who else was doing that? Tony was really fun to workout with. I did the X Strech the other day and I was cracking up! I did Butts and Gutts the overall legs premix.i made my SO do it with me and he was DYING! He just started working out and I am really proud of him for sticking with it! I feel pretty good today. Pretty tired but I got my legs pretty good this morning! My butt is already sore lol! I think I might go ahead and preorder. Cathe stuff is pretty easily modified and I might be able to use the weight stuff. I have all of her weight work and I just don't want to do any of it right now. Well not upper body.I love to work my legs, used to do it twice a week! But I are dreading upper body work for some reason. Anywho I think that these upper body workouts might be pretty good and she doesn't have that many total upper body workouts (with heavier weights anyways). Atleast the newness of them will get me motivated right?

I am 22 (tomorrow!). But 35 is not old! Age is all in your head. I am going to the doctor tomorrow and I can't wait. I should find out my due date! I think my 2 year old is doing something bad so I will get back to you ladies! I hope everyone one feels good today!

Hi! This week I have been very busy! 35 is not old! I am 37 and due with #3, so 35 sounds pretty good to me right now. ;) I am exactly 15 wks. today and finally I am starting to feel a little better. Yea! I went for an hour walk this morning and it felt nice to be outside. I ran up until about 6 wks when I started feeling bad and felt like my uterus was pressing on my bladder. I've been doing a variety of Cathe's easier stuff and my Turbo Jams. (That has been feeling hard enough for me right now.) I did do the add on abs from Cathe's Cardio Fusion and felt good doing them. I need to find something more geared for pregancy very soon though.

I enjoy the check in, hope to see you all again soon! :)

Hi!
It's great to hear from all you fit moms-to-be!! I am now 31 weeks, and I've been doing Cathe's DVD workouts everyday, about 5 to 6 times a week. When I don't work out, I'm really cranky! Usually, I alternate between Cathe's Cardio Hits and Drill Max, Imax 3 and Kick Max. I'm hoping this will be an "easy" and QUICK labor, thanks to Cathe and her wonderful workouts.

hi amy! glad you had a good first doctor visit! i didn't know you could still ride horses when you're pregnant, that's really cool. thanks for mentioning the running, i've been a runner for years and i would be very cranky and unhappy if i had to stop!

for abs i do all the regular cathe ab/core work, i just do them on my stability ball so i'm not flat on my back (i'm at 21 wks). my doc says this is fine.

btw, i'm 36 and not old at all :) :)

hope everyone is feeling great!!!

Hi all. I am 17 weeks with twins. I already have a son that is almost 3. I am very excited but so much more worried this time around with there being 2 in there. Up until I knew it was twins (8 weeks) I still worked out like normal because I did it last time and I was fine. At 8 weeks i found out it was twins and also started feeling not so well so between 8-12 it was pretty random. From 12-16 weeks i was back at it but with less intensity. I was doing 4-5 days of cardio and 2-3 full body workouts.

Here is what i have planned for this week. I am off to a bad start because I usually workout in the AM and did not do it this morning before work. I am going ot try and do it tonight.

Mon:standing legs from B&G
Tues:CTX kickboxing (am)/BM2 UB weights (pm)
Wed:30 min walk on TM @ 5% incline
Thurs:BM2 timesaver cardio
Fri-off
Sat:legs and glutes standing legs only(orjust do a gym leg workout while i am there(/30 min elliptical
Sun:UB gym WO 3*10 1 move each BP/30 min walk @5% incline

I no longer do abs as I am measurring big due ot the twins so I can not lay flat and feel like i am squeshing them.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Hello, all!

I'm 32 and 32 weeks along with my first, so you aren't old at all!!!!!! I figure I'll be around 35-36 when we try for our second. I think a lot more women are getting pregnant in their 30s now a days.

I'm working out to Denise Austin, Crunch and Rainbeau Mars right now. Most workouts get me out of breath now that I'm so far along. I'm hoping these will help me with labor - we'll see!!!

I am 30 and this is our second. You aren't old!!

Last week, I didn't do too bad.

I got in several runs and Body Max-Cardio premix, so 5 days of cardio and butts and gutts and Body Max Upper body two times each.

Exercising seems like my strong point. I am not good at eating clean. I eat a lot of fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains, but then I think I need rewards for working out and eating all the good stuff, like a cookie, or a twix. I need to make something else rewards, I know like new running shoes or something. Or at least limit it to once a week, but it seems I feel the need for a daily reward! LOL.

Any advise here?? What works for you ladies. I would love to blame it on hormones, but I am like this not pregnant too.
