Kate - Have fun on your run! Good job on the eats. I think I'm just going walking with baby in tow today. Pomai's poop smell like prunes when I give her prunes or prune juice.

Yay we got two diapers of poop! I did a tummy massage and 10 min later there was poop! I was hoping she would poop for daddy while I was at work, but she waited for me. Oh well, just happy she went! Going to my parents this afternoon and probably go walking there.

BTW: I made some chocolate chip cookies from that Web site you gave me, Kate, with the girl name steph who cooks. Man, they are good. They have only one TBSP of brown sugar, two TBSPs of white sugar (she uses Splenda, but I don't like to give it to the boys), wheat flower, oats, applesauce, babyfood prunes&apples (you know I had those on hand), a cup of chocolate chips (she actually called for 1 1/4 cups, but I used the mini ones that go further so I used less) and I added some dried apricots chopped very small. They are more cakey than normal cookies, but my kids actually ate them (a huge feat). Thought I'd share! :p

Lisa--Yay for poop!! (Did you ever think you'd ever be so happy to see a pile of sh**? Ah parenthood... :p)
 
Lisa, I actually prefer Julia to poop for me instead of Mike. He uses about half a tub of wipes for one little turd and it drives me crazy!! I know I'm anal.... I have to work on that!:p I should just be glad he's changing diapers.... but darn it, I do it better!:eek::p:eek:

Stephanie, SO HAPPY you like CLX! I'll have to check out that cookie recipe. I was wanting to bake today SO BAD but I felt my will power was waning so I cut up produce instead. :confused: I know if I baked today I would've overate. Maybe tomorrow.

Did 4DS KB cardio then added on 14 min of a FIRM KB DVD.

yeah I'm feeling better.. I have had frequent headaches for years but they come and go in consistency. sometimes I just get little headaches.. sometimes all out migranes. sometimes I have a period of time without much at all. it has no rhyme or reason. I've been to the dr a ton of times but that was a long while ago. tried every med. no use.

well I've magically lost 5 lbs the last few weeks. well partly to the few workouts I did I guess.. and probably cause I was feeling sick it does affect my appetite. but I feel ok now so hope to get right back into the swing of things.

Ok is anyone else have a serious problem with wanting every workout series coming out? I got cathes cardio.. I also REALLY like the looks of insanity and I HAVE to have turbo fire. I actually would rather jump into insanity now.. looks like a great way to loose weight.
 
Oh I was going to mention I think Liam IS a big boy. seems he just started fitting on 0-3 and now they are getting tight!!? hes 6 weeks today? I have so many clothes he hasn't even worn in that size yet. ugh! ha. oh well. guess I can make someone elses day whose expecting a boy.
 
Kate - LOL about the poop duty. I see your point though. Yay for summer fitness! I'm hoping my wo schedule will be mostly in the am during summer since I don't have to rush around in the mornings anymore. The kids don't start summer fun until 8:30am and it's literally less than five minutes away from home. I could do so much in that time. Anyway, my kids aren't done with school until Monday. Almost there. And it's going to be a half day!

Jess - I have a ton of baby clothes that Pomai hardly wore. It's practically brand new. Glad you're feeling better. I'm going to have to check out these wos you're talking about now!

Off to work. Pomai fell asleep and I want to also, but I have work this morning. I did part of BM2 UB before she started fussing. Will finish it this afternoon and hoping to get a walk in also. Have a great Friday ladies!!

Went shopping with mom and the boys today. They did great! We went to Target, and I bought a purse (a funky tote-like bag that's pink) and some other stuff. Went to Michael's and bought some baskets (they have them for 40 percent off this week, BTW) and they also had their kids' crocs (well, not real crocs) for $3.99! Went to Academy and bought some 15 lb dumbells. I didn't have any and really wanted them and their price was the best I had seen. Ah, retail therapy! Tonight: oddly enough is a rest night for CLX. Weird that the second day of the rotation is a rest day. Think I'll do some yoga or maybe a short run. Don't feel like resting!! :p (Yes, I'm in a much improved mood today. We had been cooped up in the house for the past couple of days due to rain and the boys and I were going crazy. Today was nice!) Hope everyone is having a great day!! What are everyone's weekend plans?

great day! shopped, clean eats, made healthy yummy bread (posted in recipesction), played in hot tub w/ girls, colored, wo'd, clean eats!

we have my youngest sis's grad tonight....sorry, but im dreading it. we havent been out alone in 8 months and we get to go sit thru that boring thing to race home to overtired dds. i'll get j to sleep before we go....one good thing!:p

glad that this week is over!! I kind of worked things out with the nosey co-worker, but we'll see :rolleyes:

I've only exercised 3 days this week :eek: 60min each time; no weights. So I have to plan better for next week.
 
sydney, thats 3x more than the avg american! and you have a baby & are working ft!! you are doing awesome!!! keep those eats clean & your body will respond!!! you can do it!:D
 
yep sydney sounds like your doing good. if you did more even better but that much is great. I'm still trying to get to that much.

now if "magically" I can loose 15 more lbs ;) I'll be good. I know I'll probably have to work it off though. with my pregnancy the first trimester I had pretty much a constant migrane and fatigue and the second was "ok" but I was super busy (dh about to deploy too) third tri super tired and my hips/pubic area hurting plus bad swelling. boo. I did great with my last pregnancy and worked out up till the end. oh well. guess every pregnancy is different.
 
"date" last night was nice. we made it in time to see lib walk then came home to 2 very tired girls and 2 veryvery tired grandparents!

going to an open house today thats about 2 hours away ... for a boy we don't know.... fil's fam ..... m's grandpa will be there... he's 90+ ... not well. could be the last time we see him ??? you never know at that age!

hoping to make it to a fellow cathlete's tap recital tonight. hope j goes to bed at a good time!

going to run after breakfast. wish me speed & power for our hilly road!

Kate--You sound busy! Glad eats are clean and workouts are going well! (Not that I'm surprised!!! You're my fitness hero! :p) Can't wait to check out that bread recipe. I *heart* bread.

Sydney--Don't beat yourself up! THose workouts sound great! At least they are hour-long workouts! You're doing great!

Jess--You'll drop those last 15 in no time. That's not much at all! And yes, every pregnancy is SO different. I've never hung on to pp weight like I have this time around!!! :confused:

Well, I didn't take a rest day yesterday. I did a short run on the treadmill and walked a mile with three-pound weights. Just finished up my CLX for today. Clean eats too! (If you don't count the wine last night... :eek:) Hope everyone is having a good day!!!

Question: How are you all sleeping? Is your little one still in the room with you or in the nursery? We STILL haven't moved Charlie out, and every night he winds up getting in bed with us around 3 or so. But I love having him in the room. They grow up too fast!!! Anyway, just wanted to see how everyone else was doing on this topic...
 
stpehanie, That bread recipe had bananas in it... but I promise you can't taste them. And you can easily omit the banana chips. I had a rather large piece before dinner that I did NOT need.... but its so healthy I dont think I care too much!:p
Keep up with those WO's and clean eats!!! I am feeling so great the last couple weeks. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Bed.... She sleeps in her own.:( I'm :( because I would love to sleep with her. But w/ DH's early wake up for work it doesnt work out so well. I don't sleep very good w/ a baby in the bed either. And Mike is scared he'd roll over the baby. I am beyond jealous of co-sleepers. :p I would love to do it.
 
Well, went to the zoo today with the kiddos. And walked and walked and walked. So it was a double workout day today!! :) (But, I ate doubly bad which I am sure cancels out the good of the workouts :confused:)

Kate--I don't know about the bananas... :confused: I used to eat them all the time until I had kids (and constantly was chopping up bananas) and now the thought of them turns my stomach. Odd, I know. As for the sleeping. I don't like having Charlie in bed with us at all. I don't sleep well. I'm constantly waking up to check to make sure his face isn't in the mattress or our pillows, but I put him in bed with us when he gets unconsolable at night -- usually around 3 a.m. (I think he's figured it out.) I just was wondering who had their baby's bed in the same room as them still. We are thinking about putting the crib in our room (he now sleeps in a pack n play in our room). I just don't want to move him to his nursery (which is on a separate floor :confused:). Anyway... It's late. I better get some sleep while I can! Hoping for better eats tomorrow. CLX is on the menu again. Nighty night!!
 
stephanie, oh, i love those zoo days for the extra walking you get in! sorry abt the food tho! there is zero healthy food at the zoo! back on the wagon today woman!;):D get those results from clx and show that bod who's BOSS!:p:p:p
