Been thinking about getting one. Wondering those of you who have one, where did you order and how much??? Oh and was it worth it?

Thanks

Catherine- I did a search on the bullet last week!!! We must have watched the same infomercial...

I ended up skipping the MB and getting the Hamilton Beach personal blender Dani (I think) recommended instead. It hasn't arrived yet, but I can't wait!!

I just did a search through Open Discussion on the word "bullet".

This is the BEST kitchen gadget that I have ever owned. I LOVE the Magic Bullet. It is perfect for smoothies, protein shakes and margaritas ;) It chops perfectly too. every time that I us it, I am so happy that I requested it!

I got mine as a present but I know that I have seen them as low as $35 when they are on sale (for the base model w/two blades and I think 6 cups). You need to watch and make sure you compare the package b/c there several different ones.

DITTO!

I bought mine at full price and I still think it was worth it. I have also been eyeing that hamilton beach blender.

>Which Hamilton Beach one? I am ready for a new blender!

Have you guys seen the infomercial for the magic bullet that comes with a blender? They have a blender, juicer and a food processor and I think that one of their packages (at least a month ago, it did) comes with a free blender and juicer. I like free :p

You have a Magic Bullet too, Dani? Do you use it for your veggies? I bought a food processor but sometimes I think it's just easier to use a knife. I have a Back to Basics Personal Blender for my smoothies.

I use it to make smoothies, but I use the little cups to make individual smoothies for myself. Then, I drink right out of the cup. Very convenient!

:)

:) I just came back here to write the exact same thing. For months I wondered why people discused the MB so non-chalantly! :p

I use my Magic Bullet to make my morning smoothies. I've had it for about 1 1/2 years, and it has earned its keep!

I got mine from HSN for around $49? (I just saw a similar blender that looks even better, for about the same price.)

I have used the MB for other blending, but it doesn't do it as well (using the larger "blender container"that comes with it.

It's great for smoothies, though.

It's a blender container, not a separate blender (the MB IS a blender), and a juicer attachment, not a separate juiicer. The MB doesn't work that well as a regular blender, IMO. I haven't tried the juicer attachment, but it looks lame to me.

I got the Hamilton Beach blender instead because the amazon reviews of the MB were terrible. Also, I didn't want to figure out where in my house to keep all the additional stuff that comes with the MB, when all I really need is the blender and the mug!!

I'm glad you guys love yours!

Ha! Also raising my hand for thinking this was a thread about a "fun party" purchase:p }( ;-) Oh well. Smoothies it is!

I got mine from HSN when it was the special value for the day plus someone posted a $15 coupon. Total was around $47. I mostly use the individual cups to make protein smoothies. I have also used it to make salsa. I haven't used the juicer or blender attachments but the blender attachment is pretty small. I'm happy with mine but I don't think it's worth full price.
