Ladubose, sounds like you had a terrific workout! I agree with you on the need to change things up. That's supposed to be one plus of STS, too. On th signature question, go to your control panel, and look down a little ways. It's there.
Thanks for the compliments on the pullups! I got tired of not being able to do them, and made that my major goal for 2009. The first week of January, I was doing as many as I could, once an hour, for about a week. It made a huge difference. Right now I'm working on just stabilizing at nine per set, and then I'm going for more Am also working on my toe pushups. With those, I can do sixteen, and then I'm flat out until I rest for a few minutes. It takes me more rest to do drop sets with toe pushups than Cathe and co, that's for sure. But, after STS, we're all going to be much better at pushups ... gulp ...
Today I really pushed hard on my hike, because I had a limited time and wanted to hit all the big hills, and did a set of 50 kettlebell onehand swings beforehand without taking breaks. There is still quite a bit of snow, so it is like walking in sand. That left me pretty wiped out! Also, I am feeling yesterday's bosu workout. All that balance challenge left my muscles feeling kind of twitchy and tingly. It isn't a bad sensation, just a bit unusual - if you've ever gotten off of a boat after being on the water for awhile, you'll know what I mean. So, tonight's dvd was Kari Anderson's Reach, the first half, which is 30 minutes or so. I hadn't done that one for a long time, and today reminded me why I like it so much. Kari is a professional dancer, and extremely graceful with her movements. The whole dvd just flows so well, and it carried my tired self along with it. Fortunately no one was watching because, unlike Kari, I was only pretending to be graceful It was overall a good stretch and a nice loosening up, and helped remind my body that it was on solid ground.
