Low Max on a 6" step

RE: Low Max on a 6

I have come to realize that higher step does not equal higher intensity.

I have bumped almost everything I do step-wise to 6 inches with a few exceptions.

I feel better, safer, and feel just as, if not more challenged on a 6 in step.

The use of an 8 inch step always made me overly cautious, thereby making my workouts less enjoyable.

I can't stand to do Body Max 2 on an 8 inch riser. When I use a 6 inch riser, I feel like I get a great cardio workout without all the unnecessary impact on my joints.

Yeah, I've bumped my step down a bit lately after some knee issues (and I'm "only" 32). The other day I fell off the 8-inch step and I was just doing an A-step. An A-step, for pete's sake! That's why I probably have no business on 8 inches. I'm a very average 5'5", btw, so it's not because I'm short--I'm just clumsy.
