Hi Everyone! Soon the new DVD's will be in your hands. Since I have received a few emails asking which workout is harder (our previous Basic Step or our new Low Impact Step)I though I would elaborate a little.
If you were a beginner and you didn't know where or what order to start with with my beginner to intermediate workouts, I would put them in this order.
1) Basic Step (the 30 minute basic combo's with longer breakdown)
2) Body Fusion (50 minute step and weight circuit)
3) Low Impact Step (38 minute intense solid step workout)
Actually #2 and #3 are about equal in intricacy and intensity but Low Impact Step stays focused completely on low impact step cardio with slightly more intricacy and Body Fusion is a step and weight circuit but contains a few higher impact moves perhaps making it slightly higher in intensity. Its a judgement call.
As a more advanced participant, you will soon see how easy it is to modify "up" Low Impact Step simply by doing the moves the way you are used to vs keeping them completely grounded. Also, you have the option of going to an 8 inch step height and/or selecting a more advanced premix option.
I suggest doing the workout as is, as your base, and then you will know what you need to do to modify up, down, or stay right where you are :7
