Love High Step Challenge

I love this workout! Does anyone else love this workout? I don't hear people mention it too often. I have heard some say that it is too easy. I think it is great and my body feels so good after it. I love how it has a little bit of everything and I feel I have a pretty good weight workout and cardio. I think if you move quickly and do moves without modifications that it is one tough workout. I love it!

Agreed. It is a challenging, ADVANCED workout, no way is it "easy." ignore what everyone else thinks and enjoy it!

I remember some people saying that they didn't care for it. I cannot imagine why, I LOVE this workout. It is, in fact, my fav of the hardcores. The cardio is fun, you feel like you get a good weight workout, the low end squats at the end fry your butt and the abs are killer. I would have to say that of the circuit workouts, this is the best I have ever done. She just keeps getting better.

I agree! If I use Cathe's same amount of weight and do not push the pause button, this is a tough workout!! I don't know who would say it isn't?? I have a much easier time doing all of Bootcamp without pausing than all of this one.

I absolutely LOVE this workout! It challenges me every single time I do it. This was my first high step DVD, and I am hooked. I ordered HSTA this week, as I think that it will push me just as hard as High Step Challenge. I am always drenched after this workout, and I've only made it through the entire thing once so far. But, I'll keep pushing! I have the entire Hard Core series, and this is the one I keep coming back to over and over again. I've only tried 2 of them so far (Core Max + HSC).

Would you believe I have yet to try this one? I think this weekend might be a good time to break this one in!

I totally agree with everyone on this one. I think you also use a band with this one and OMG I was shocked at how challenging and down right hard using the band was. I think this workout is way way hard and works you way way hard. Cathe also reduces recovery time with this one which really kicks it up!
 
Another vote for HSC, I love the music, I love the workout, I use as much weight as Cathe's, sometimes more, it is very challenging.
 
HSC is NOT easy. I'm not into circuit workouts, so every time I do one, I find it tough. HSC is the toughest, I think, among all the high step workouts because it is fast-paced, and exercises are thrown at you one after another. It's like my body doesn't have time to figure out what needs to be done; it just has to do it. And I like that. It's a great system shocker.:)

I did this one in front of my DH last night and he nearly feel over with exhaustion just watching me!! It was a really big step for me because I hate it when anyone is watching! I feel so silly and embarrased! But last night I wanted him to see what all the fuss was about with Cathe and it's such a great/hard workout I wanted him to see just how darn hard I work!!
 
I agree, I love this workout. I'm not sure if I've said it was too easy, but I have mentioned that I find it 'lighter' than HSTA. That said, HSC is great. Last Saturday I tried it going heavier than I had before and it really challenged me. I was so sweaty afterwards, but with a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction!
