having a group of 12 mid age woman to my home sat. night-- any suggestions for "fun games"-- thought of pictionary and charades--- anything else?

we'll be sitting in the living room-- not around a table.

thanks.

Bunko is a hoot. I totally agree with Pictionary. Don't know if you have the Wii system, but that is a blast to play against each other or teams for golf, bowling, etc.. especially once the wine-o-clock hour kicks in full force! ;)

Hi again- sorry, didn't catch the non-table rule, Bunko requires several tables but I gotta tell ya... it is so fun! I have a seven year old so normally when people ask what games we play my answer is usually, Candyland, Connect Four, Tic-tac-toe, Spongebob Operation.... it's fun to get the adult brain going!! Enjoy your girls night in!!:D

Catch Phrase is an electronic game (bought it at Target for about $20.00)
that's a lot of fun.

Have a fun night!

I have "game night" monthly and one of the most requested is what we call telephone-Pictionary. Everyone know telephone and obviously pictionary so this merges the two. The deal is everyone has pieces of paper in their hand equal to the number of people playing. So if you have 12 then everyone has 12 pieces in their pack. You don't need big pieces I usually tear 81/2x11 into 4's. Ok so everyone writes down a phrase, song, movie, whatever. Then you pass the WHOLE PACK of papers to your right or left however you want to go. Then the next person looks at what's written moves that paper to the back of the pack and draws whatever that phrase etc is. Then you pass again and the next person looks at the drawing and moves it to the back of the pack and writes what they think the picture means and so. the idea is that what was written most often will be completely changed by the time you get your pack back. Then everyone shows how it progressed through each person and how it either stayed in theme of what was written or went completely oof track. Honestly it was one of the best group games. I can't draw to save my soul which makes it even funnier to pass along my pictures.

We bought our niece "Catch Fraise" and she loved it. She brings it everywhere and plays with her friends all the time. She is in her mid 20's. :D

I like the drinking game they played on "Frazier" once; they watched "Antiques Roadshow" and took a drink every time the word "veneer" was said.:D
