LMR Functional Yoga + Bonus Restorative Yoga

Okay, I think this is officially my favorite Cathe Yoga workout now. I've never been really keen on most of her yoga DVDs - I tend to gravitate towards the Namaste Yoga series when I want to do yoga.

I really appreciated her pacing and queueing in this series, which I've always felt was "off" with her other yoga DVDs. The music was decent, too. Fun section of vinyasa flows with her take on Sun Salutations followed by some nice balance challenges (though I'm kind of tired of the airplane balance move.) I appreciated she introduced Warrior 3 pose. The twisting knee-lift was a fun balance challenge, too. I enjoyed the floor stretches at the end, and the time spent working on Lizard pose (that one's always a difficult one for me.)

The bonus Restorative was like the cherry on top. I really enjoyed the intentional slowdown, being able to stay in all the postures for a good long while, while allowing the blocks to help ease up what can generally be tough positions without the support.

I feel reaaaallly good now. Looking forward to this popping up in my rotation again.

I did the balance and restorative yoga premix. I have some work to do on the balance moves but the restorative yoga was nice. I am not a big Cathe yoga fan but this was nice to get in the position and hold. Reminded me of Yin Yoga which I like a lot.
