LIS and increase in hunger

Hi everybody...Just wondering if someone else is experiencing this:when I'm done with workouts of the new seires such as AT, AB or CS I start to starve and my hunger is out of control.:(:confused:
I read with interest Cathe's suggestion about increasing calories between meals and tried to eat more, but it's like I've got a black hole in my stomach and for a couple of days I really have to fight to stay on control of every morsel. I've broken a plateau thanks to this series and lost 2 pounds in a month (not that much but to me it's great achievement, as I need to shed the last 6-8 pounds), I don't know if the two things are connected. Any ideas about that?
 
I have a simple, inexpensive solution: organic coconut oil. I buy the refined Spectrum brand. Take the lid off, pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to melt, get a tablespoon, and drizzle it on everything such as oatmeal, soups, stir frys, roasted veggies, beans/rice etc. It will give you that calorie boost you need and also supply the extra fats you need too. The advantage is that it kills hunger and supports your thyroid. Happy eating!

Ooh, also it works great in home made baked goods instead of butter.
 
I was hungry for about a week or so when I first started the LIS and then my hunger leveled off. What got me through was a couple of TBS. of hummus with lots of raw veggies after my workout and a hard-boiled egg here and there. I track my food through Weight Watchers and I was still creating a deficit even eating these extras.

I also increased my H2O intake and drank white tea to help fill me up. (But I mostly drank the white tea because it was ginger-pear flavored and delicious.);)
 
I am ALWAYS hungry! I LOVE LOVE food! It's one of the best pleasures in life :p

Yup, this series seems to be giving me an increase in appetite too. Do you like Kale? You gotta try these Kale chips, they are so yummy and healthy and satisfy that salty craving with a very minimal amount of calories:

The recipe calls for seasoned salt, but you can use any seasoning you like.


Oh, greek yogurt is very filling too. I love that with some almonds and a drizzle of honey. Heaven on a plate!
 
Everytime, I increase my workouts, my hunger also increases. Lately, I've gone from one small breakfast and late med sized lunch/dinner combo to three meals a day normally. I think b/c with LIS, the workouts allow a person to remain aerobic instead of hitting unaerobic states like you would in high impact workouts, the workouts keep your metabolism up and fat-burning consistent.
 
Thank you very much ladies for your useful suggestion!! I'll give them a go in the next days and hope to keep hunger at bay. Oh...And what a relief to know that I'm not the only one with an increase in appetite due to LIS :) I feel I'm burning more, but just don't want to vanish all my hard work with the wrong food :)
