My workout is done, and I need to run errands, but am waiting for a check to come in the mail. I started with Coffey Fit Raw Just Step, 24 minutes, heart rate average 141, max 168, 2,194 steps, 156 calories, met 5.9. I then did Les Mills on Demand Body Step #107 Express, 32 minutes, met 5.8, 204 calories, average heart rate 133, max 155, 2,775 steps. I then did Les Mills Short Body Pump #102 arms, 16 minutes, heart rate average 103, max 128, 324 steps, met 4.5, 79 calories. I finished off with Les Mills Short Body Flow Yoga focus on hip opening, 14 minutes, met 2.0 31 calories. Total time was 86 minutes, 370 calories. The body pump had the usual light barbell total body warm up. I did not do the clean and press and I used only a 15# barbell for this. The arms started with triceps alternating overhead extensions with a weight plate(15# me) and single arm kickbacks 10# dropping to 5 when they did the pumping move. They repeated these 3 times then moved to biceps which was slow, quick, halfs, singles, pumps etc. I used 12# and dropped to 10# dumbbells. Their weight plates have a better handle grip in the center than mine do so it depends on the moves which I use.
Belinda, I have not paid any attention to Cathe's new workouts. I guess because I did not pre-order, the anticipation of how I will use them is not there. I will look later. I am really liking Les Mills too. I have always loved the dvds from Pump and Combat, so I am not surprised that I like the streaming. They seem to have a pretty professional set up on them. The music is great and all of the instructors are motivating.
