Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

No workout today. Just a rest day and trying to get over a cold. I see Kelly has her new Coffey Fit Raw cardio/sculpt overload workout. It is 40 minutes with weighted vest optional cardio and moderate dumbbell work between. I skimmed through it. For some reason when I try to watch the new videos on my laptop there is no audio. I noticed this with the last one, but it was fine with the Roku.

Yesterday I did a SBF lower barre workout with my DD. I am thinking signing up for BB.

Debbie - thanks about DD birthday. Great job with your workouts. Hope you had fun with your grandson. Did you end up buying him some from Amazon?

Doreen - I need to check out those wide bands. I have that problem with Cathe's bands they ride up, hate them.

Lift4 W1 D1 chest/triceps is done. DH and I liked it a lot. You can go as heavy as you want. He does weights first, than Hiit cardio ( he has a modifier) + abs. The weights workout was slow and controlled. Can't wait to do D2 tomorrow. Workout time was 40 min. Not bad!

Ohhh... I may have to check out BB. I remember seeing previews for Lift4. How is the HIIT Cardio? Is it fun cardio or just the normal stuff like high knees or burpees?

I did FitSplit Low Impact and metabolic conditioning this morning. I should have lifted heavier but just wasn't feeling like draining myself this morning

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Cardio/Sculpt overload, 41 minutes, 265 calories, met 5.8, 1,969 steps, heart rate 110 average, 160 max. I finished off with a Sarah Beth You Tube Morning yoga, 16 minutes, 35 calories. total time 57 minutes, 300 calories.
Raw Cardio / Sculpt Overload Kelly wears a 6# weighted vest (optional) I used 12# and later in the workouts she mentions a 12#. She uses a light pair of dumbbells 8# and a 12# pair of dumbbells 30 seconds each exercise done 4 times This is all low impact.

Belinda, my 7 year old grandson had me pull up my amazon app so he could see the prices on what he liked. I put one thing in my wish list and he put several others, so they are there. He was so cute about trying to keep the price in the teens :) The other one is 4 and he picked out a couple of things too. I stuck one of the sticker on one item. I guess Lift 4 is from Beach Body? I will have to look and see what it is.

Belinda, sometimes our bodies just tell us we are not ready for a maxed out tuff workout. I wasn't really feeling like pushing hard today either.

Belinda- Looks like a good circuit. How is the music? How many workouts are there in the series?

This morning I did Stepboxing 2 - premix workout 1 with dumbell drills then premix workout 2 dumbell drills instead of cardio drills.

Happy birthday, Doreen! There is no music in this series. I will count once i am home. You do 4 workouts a week for 8 weeks. There is a short stretch wo and a recovery wo from what I saw. Tomorrow is a rest/ recovery day. Thursday is shoulder, Friday is legs. Saturday and Sunday no workout.

I have been trying to get caught up on things around here after spending the 3 day weekend sitting around with my husband.

Today was a rest/recovery day on the Lift4 program. I only work 4 day's a week on LIft4. I did SBF LB circuit today.

DH and I doing lots of day trips.

Diane Sue - yes, I will follow the 4 day rotation and add on like SBF, walks or stretching. Great job today. My husband is on leave until Monday. I am not getting a lot done around the house.

Doreen - hope you had fun yesterday. Great job today.

This morning I did STS Athletic Step, 49 minutes, heart rate average 124, max 155, met 6.0, 324 calories, 3,848 steps. I then did Kelly Coffey's Step Boxing 2 premix workout 2 no drills, 22 minutes, heart rate average 134, max 159, 144 calories, met 5.9, 2079 steps. I went out on errands and came home and started wiping things down and doing bedding, cleaning things from top to bottom. I guess I had a surge of energy ;)

Belinda, SB is a good one to use on the off days. I just like to enjoy my time while my husband is home with him. I am trying to get caught up and do some extra cleaning that has been waiting on me to get to it. Trying to get rid of dust mites. I changed my upstairs filter after I went to the store and have been wiping down blinds and fans and that sort of thing today.

Doreen, her workouts look like they would be pretty tough. Nice work. If I waited till late in the day the workout would probably not get done ;)

Week 1- Workout #4 – Legs LIIFT 50/50 = 40 min is done. Had a great workout. Week 1 is done. Saturday and Sunday is recovery. I will do lots of stretching and maybe try to get some steps in.

I feel Julia's workout today!!! This morning I did KCM Total Body Kickbox workout 1 & 2 combined but I stopped early because I ran out of time. I checked this one out from the library and couldn't get it picked up until yesterday and have to return it today. I'll have to make a note to check it out.

We are leaving tomorrow to visit my parents. I might not be able to check in for awhile!! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week.
 
This morning I did P90X3 MMX, 34 minutes, met 6.0, heart rate average 137, max 165, 2,058 steps (this has lots of sprawls) I then did Strong and Sweaty Giant Sets mish mosh #5 double lower body, 61 minutes, met 4.5, 308 calories, 1,375 steps, heart rate 110 average, 150 max. Total time was 95 minutes and calories burned 532. I have to go back to Walmart as I forgot to take the deodorant spray back as it only sprays air :rolleyes: My husband brought it back in to me and I thought at first he was saying it was gone already. My youngest daughter remembered that no one was on the list for our traditional fruit salad for Thanksgiving so I need to get stuff for that.

I do floors one day and baths, dusting, and extras another and then clean where needed the rest of the week. Generally downstairs main area gets the floors cleaned and dusting done at least twice a week. Nice workout today.

Doreen, enjoy your time with your parents. Too bad you have to take the dvd back right away.
 
Diane Sue - great job this morning. Sorry about the deodorant. Hope you got your money back. I feel like I am always cleaning something. One of those day's I have a smaller house.
