Like Cathe way better than Power 90X!!

>yep... that's what i read, too... she didn't get that body
>from her published workouts! lol!
>
From what I understand, her classes are very much like her published workouts (although she states that she does try out new moves during her classes). So she very well may get her body from her published workouts. That's how a LOT of women on this forum got their body!

PS Just doin' my part to keep the thread alive.

RE: P90X, Cathe and that TurboJam Muchacha

>And that Turbo Jam chick? If you think Tony is annoying, get a load >of this chick! I am sure she is great gal, but comes across clumsy, >and she looks strange working out, not to mention her whole >cheerleader thing, which I cannot stand.
:D
Thank you! I thought I was the only one that didn't love Chalene. I sold my Turbo Jam on Ebay and made a 2.00 profit! I think it's because BB's service is so poor.

I actually did have something important to say relating to
>this thread. The only BAD thing about not doing as much cardio
>is that if someone were to continue to eat say, Ho Ho's, then
>that person should probably add in additional cardio to see
>better results. I'm just saying.

And now you know why I have changed/added to the cardio in the rotation! >>>>

DITTO .. Suz and Wendy .... as I said .. I am not giving up my potatoes and rice .. and homecooked Southern meals every now and then!!

Uh, before you guys all hate me and kick me off the message boards...I want to apologize for the remark I made about Tony's "preferences" I seriously did not mean to sound anything other than slightly amusing--as I plug through some of his more boring workouts--chest and back being one of them.... But in today's world, there are things better left unsaid and on that note I am sorry.
Still like mixing Cathe's and Tony's workouts, did 45 on the elliptical yesterday AM, Tony's Legs and Back in the PM. This AM did Cathe's Cardio Kicks, I think this workout is underrated, I love it! I like that there are guys in the video, for some reason, having men in the videos can make me work harder. But anyway, both have their place in anyone's well-rounded program if you are an advanced exerciser. There are not too many advanced tapes out there, and Cathe and Tony's are the best in my opinion.

when i do p90x i miss cathe
when i do cathe i miss p90x

so i guess that meens mix the two up in a rotation

How exciting. I was thinking just yesterday about reviving this thread just for kicks, as I'm just SURE people have missed it! }( I'm glad it's back. Hehehe.

ETA: Not a bit surprised to see Wendy here again. ;)

You're such a little trouble maker!}(;-)

Sorry i started this... hee.

Looking back at my post i feel bad about what i said about Tony's hair color and tan. It was un-called for to makeaa comment that... sounds kinda mean and i am not a mean person in any way. He like anyone has the right to look the way they want and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I just happen to like very tall blond Sweedish men (my hubby) heee. Some people find the mullet hot!

Hey Brigette, nothin' wrong with a tall blonde in my book, girl!}(

I also happen to find Tony quite attractive too though and very amusing but hey, to each his own, right? :)

I am thoroughly enjoying the X and what it has done for me so far!

Hey Suz, care to add anything here? C'mon...ya know ya wanna!:p

I Love the results I'm getting from it. I've found it particulary good with a TJ doubles! Again this is just me a short woman but in addition to gaining a lot of strength I've leaned out abs and lower body the most. Not sure why but I'm getting a lean that I wasn't getting from step. No idea why but I can't complain!

Between X rounds I'll be doing cathe rotations!

As Tony says variety is the spice of life! How boring it would be if we all liked all the same things!

GREAT THREAD! I did a search for P90 and came up with this thread. You guys are hilarious! I am seriously thinking about purchasing P90X and after reading this thread I am still on the fence!!! So many people like it but so many people don't like it!!! I don't know what to do!!!! Well, I will probably end up getting it anyway! I just bought a $14 chin up bar that you put in the doorway so I guess I have to buy the workouts to use with it!! hahahaa I haven't made my hubby put the chin up bar yet to see if it works or if I'm going to fall on my butt so that may be the deciding factor!!!
Anyway, just wanted to chime in that I love this thread and thanks for all the info on the P90X workouts.
PS: I could just take that money and buy more Cathe workouts....hmmmm :) :) :)

DIE THREAD DIE!!!! LOL, just something about the title of this tread is like nails on a chalkboard.

I'm in week 10 and have gotten great results and have grown to love another exercise experience. I thought I would miss Cathe's step, and I do, but even Cathe says you must break up the routine to get results! And in this case it works..I have also leaned out my lower body and chiseled out a set of abs. I am stronger than I have ever been. So don't fear trying something new.

Now...die thread!!

AMber

Thank you for your input. Unless I can't get the chin up bar to work, I will probably get the P90X. Thanks again.
T.

Brigitterenee - are you REALLY sorry you started this never-ending thread? It's kinda fun. :)

Wendy - Of course I wanted to pop in and say SOMETHING, even if it's something meaningless. :p

Amber - I'm glad you're getting such great results! We're on the same week, as you know. I have better biceps, that's for sure. If I'd eat better I'd have better overall results, but that goes for anything. ;) But I still LOVE the program and I think Tony's a kick. He's got a great attitude. And I know how much you love his hairless legs!

I also miss Cathe and will be happy to see her again when I'm finished. And I will miss Tony too and will be happy to see him the next time I go back to another P90X rotation - probably after cycling season ends in late October or early November.
