LifeChoice Frozen Dinner

I just found LifeChoice frozen dinners. I only tried the Chiken Parmesan. It was deliciuos and filling with 38gm of protein and only 13gm of carb. It had a whopping amount of sodioum though, about 1100mg (maybe that's why it tasted so good). Has anyone else tried the other varieties?

Yikes on the sodium! That's about a day's worth! Why is it that many of these seemlingly healthy frozen dinners have horrendous amounts of sodium?

I just tried the Homestyle Baked Chicken for lunch. Wow - I couldn't believe how much chicken was in there but still only 210 calories, 28g of protein and 6 grams of fat. Sodium was 810mg but it didn't taste salty. Very good. The chicken parmessan did look good but had more calories and fat grams. Not that bad but maybe for dinner instead of lunch while on WW. I have the turkey one too but haven't tried that one yet. They must be really new - only saw them at one store so far.

Kathryn, I read an article in which a resturantuer said people would be surprised at the amount of salt used at resturants. He said it brings the flavor out. (It's also a preservative.) The article also said, on average, people consume about two teaspoons of salt per day which is 4,000 milligrams! We require about a fifth of a teaspoon. I tend to buy no salt added canned goods, mainly tomatoes, tomatoe sauce and paste. Processed foods are ridiculous with sodium! Occasionnnaly I will buy a frozen meal for convenience but the saltiness is almost too much for my palate!
