I'm so embarrassed to admit this b/c it's sounds REALLY crazy but you were in one of my dreams last night :D:eek::p Sad thing is I can't really remember the details of it :( All I remember is that I was in a basement (maybe yours?) with you and we were looking at all of your snakes and reptiles. The weiner dogs were with us too :D:D:D I just can't remember what we were doing or talking about...it was really strange :p

I woke up this morning thinking...WTH???

LOL! That's great Chastity! :) It would be cool if we lived closer and our weiner dogs could have play dates. :)

p.s. I feel very honored to have a thread with my name in the title by the way! ;)

A weiner dog play date would be fun :)
Tanner would most likely be the trouble maker in the bunch and have to go into a timeout :p

Well, Montana would be right there with him! He is my little "Kujo" weiner dog. He has no concept of playing nicely.

I hope you don't mind me butting in here:) I wanted to tell this..

My oldest son installs home theatre for Best Buy, so he gets to meet family pets on his job. His dream is to one day have a English bulldog.
Yesterday he came home from work and said he wants a bully and a wiener dog. He said of all the dogs he visits with, the wiener dogs have the cutest personalities.:D

They are pretty darn cute!!!

Could you post pictures so I can show my son your kids?

Kujo...lol :D I think I just found a new nickname for Tanner..thanks :)

He's a really bad influence on Tucker b/c when I walk them together Tanner's bad behavior towards other dogs rubs off on him. When I walk Tucker alone he is a completely different dog..he's friendly to other dogs and people. The only thing that gets Tucker riled up is people on bikes, rollerblades, etc...he goes crazy

Here's some pictures of my dear old Siegfried with our cat, Johnny. I was taking pictures for our annual Christmas card a few years ago and some of them were pretty funny. Siegfried is gone now and I miss him terrible! :(

In this picture, Johnny is in a shoebox that I tried to conceal in a pillowcase -- lol! Johnny loves boxes!

This was the finished product!

And this was our card the following year.

Cynthia..I have a bunch of pics of my kids in my picturetrail. Actually I have an album of just them. Tell your oldest son that he will not regret getting a dachshund :) They are such funny little characters. I shouldn't say "little" since my boys seems to think they are the size of a great dane.

Liann, I confess that every time I look at your or Chastity's pictures I get a little teary eyed. I had 2 wiener's, too (I don't have a digital pic of Maggie), and I miss them something fierce. We just can't get another dog right now. We're not home enough to care for them.

Your babies are so precious, and I can SO RELATE to them "being caught" -- LOL!

I could look at dachshund pics all day...just love them :)

Michele...Siegfried was beautiful, he reminds me of Tucker's mommy Pepper. The Christmas after we lost our first doxie Docker we did a Christmas card in honor of him. Let me see if I can find it somewhere.

Liann..I LOVE that pic of little pumpkin Montana.

Montana is very much a momma's boy. He is starting to warm up to Bry more, but he has to be on me at every moment and he actually begs to be picked up.

Michele - I just can't imagine losing any of my babies. :( They really are like my kids and I know if I was in your position, I would be tearing up too - (((HUGS)))

I miss the kids being puppies. :( They are all growed up now. This is Montana now:

I've probably showed you guys these, but these are Cheyenne and Montana's puppies. I have a really hard time not tearing up when I see them because they were preemies and died after about 3 weeks of me attempting to nurse them night and day. It was probably one of the few times I saw my DH cry. :(

I couldn't find the actual card but I did find the pic that we used. It bums me out b/c it turned out so cute. Let me try to describe it...I used a card design that had Santa and his reindeer flying off into the night and under their pic (that was cropped better than the one here) I wrote "From out on the lawn there arose such a clatter! We sprang from our beds to see what was the matter!"

ETA: Liann, losing those babies must have been so heartbreaking for you guys :( {{Hugs}}
How old are Chey, Dakota and Montana? Just wondering b/c Tanner just turned 8 and I can't believe how gray he has become just over the past year. I miss the puppy stage too.

It was AWFUL Chastity. I thought I was going to lose my mind because I could tell I was losing them and the people at the vets office would not help me at all. They wrote them off the minute they were born and I will forever be ticked about that. This is them at about 2 weeks:

That card had to be precious Chastity!!! The picture is too cute!

Dakota and Cheyenne are 5 and Montana is 4. Dakota has a little bit of a gray beard. They all still act like puppies though. ;)
