Let's have a little fun???

Liann

Cathlete
I don't know about you, but I need a lite thread. ;) So, I know we have done this before, but how about the little "game" where you tell two truths and one lie and everyone guesses the lie? I'll start us out...

A. My first date with my DH was a blind date. I had to look him up in the college yearbook just to know who I was meeting.

B. I was a competitive Cheerleader in High School.

C. I can't stand loud music, especially anything involving electric guitars.

- Actually, we probably usually play with guessing which one is true, but heck, this is my thread, so we'll do it this way! ;)

Liann, I say A is false.

For me:

A. I am deathly afraid of heights
B. I did competitive dance in high school
C. I love to take naps

Catherine,

I think "c" is false.

1. A friend that lived with us while I was in high school chased me with a dead snake and I had to lock myself in my car.

2. I'm embarrassed to meet Cathe

3. I love jazz.

Liann, I think you're a big liar about not liking loud guitar music! :p

Catherine, I think you'e fibbing about heights, and I think I can find a picture of you waaaaaaay up high to prove it!

Here's me:
A. I won a medal in a baton twirling competition
B. I have a passion for 18th C antiques
C. I can hold a plank for 6 minutes

You got me Michelle! ;) My left ear will never be the same after that Seether/Breaking Benjamin dual concert I went to the other night!!! And I am a Guitar Hero freak! ;)

A - DH actually called me out of the blue and asked me out. I'd never me him in my life, but he sounded nice, so I was like WTH, sure!

B - Yes, I'm a recovering Cheerleader. ;)

Here's my guesses:

Catherine - B
Kim - C
Michele - C - although if anyone can do it, you probably can, so maybe I should guess A???

here's mine

A - I was born & raised in Florida

B - I have 7 dogs in my home

C - I love to hun twith my husband

Thnaks for the idea of a lite thread today, just what I needed. :D

Liann you guessed me. I can not dance at all :p

Michele, I'm gonna have to say C. But that's a little tricky, hmmmm, not sure????

I guess C is your falsehood

Tami--I'm pretty sure C is your lie since I remember a thread about you saying you were looking forward to some alone time once hunting season started.

I could be waaaaaay off base though.

Catherine--I think you're faking your fear of heights. Anyone who loves chinups and pullups as much as you can't be scared of heights!

Michele-I have a funny feeling that you're lying about C.....;)

Ok, mine are:

a.) I am deathly afraid of squirrels
b.) I absolutely hate talking on the phone
c.) I have a weird fascination with Canadians and totally want to live in Canada one day

You guys got me. On a really good day, I can MAYBE hold a plank for 1 minute.
Liann, I just bought my nephew a Guitar hero for his birthday. :D

Kim, I'm going to say 2, but maybe I'm just projecting my own fears on to you -- lol!

Maynardsmom, I guess C for you.

Allison - I'm thinking B for you. For some reason I can actually see you being afraid of squirrels. ;) At college, I was actually chased down the sidewalk by a crazed squirrel. They also used to throw nuts at us when we would leave our dorm, so I've never liked the little buggers myself.

Liann & Allison you are both right. Way to pay attention Allison, I am sssooo looking forward to hunting season for other reasons than the thrill of the hunt.

Great threads today - helps getting my count up!! LOL

Allison, you really have me scratching my head, those are good ones. I think the lie is A. I can't see you being afraid of squirrels.

Maybe I am totally off. Here are mine.

A. I was a regional champion for 3-day-eventing two years in a row
B. I am afraid of heights
C. I speak 5 languages

And what, exactly is that supposed to mean?.....

Are you saying I may be a bit...er....dare I say...bizarre?

Hehe. Nope, I'm not afraid of squirrels. I adore them. They're so stinkin' cute!! I once had the biggest meltdown of my life when I thought I hit a squirrel with my car. Turns out it was just a plastic bag in the road.....

Don't ask.

I detest talking on the phone, though. And wouldn't you know, that's like 90% of my job. Ugh. I can have entire converstations through text messaging. Talking on the phone totally stresses me out. But then, what doesn't?

And I adore Canadians. Don't ask me why. I just think they're the coolest ever and I really want to live there so I can be cool too....

Lol, we'll I guess they can be a little cute - I prefer chipmunks myself. I've dealt with two many psycho squirrels. It must be something about Greenville, SC, but I'm telling you those squirrels were all rabid or something! They would scream and throw things and chase you. I HATED them!

I HATE talking on the phone too! My heart rate actually goes up just from hearing the ring of a phone. I would rather do almost anything than have to talk to someone on the phone.

Carola - B?

Carola, I think B is your lie -- I don't think you're afraid of heights. And you've lived in so many places that I totally believe you can speak 5 languages!

Allie, I completely missed out on your question!

I also hate talking on the phone.
