Let's Chat

Hi Cathe

I missed the Road Trip but I love your top in the Friday night picture (the brown off the shoulder). Can I ask where you got it?? You look beautiful in it. Also, I wanted to tell you that your new hair-do looks great!!:)

I hope to get to next years Road Trip if you have one (while I'm young) haha!

Thanks,
Donna

Hi Cathe,

Will there be any clips or the new programs posted before the presale ends? It really helps me when I can see what I'm getting into ;-).

Thanks,
Mary,

RE: Happy Friday, Cathe!!!

Hi Heather....miss you too....wish you were there with Phyllis too. She did really great, I even through a reverse hop, ricochet, pony down, at her and she didn't miss a beat :7

So glad you are feeling better and less blue today. I'm better today too....still miss everyone lots but maybe I will finally do my laundry today, ha!!!!

Hi Cathe, just a quick hello. :)

I just wanted to say how much I love your workouts. Whenever I am lacking motivation, I just pop in one of your DVDs and the time flies.

I loved seeing everyone's pics from the road trip and reading your blog. I wish I could have been there. It is obvious by looking at the pictures how much you have helped us all in our fitness goals.

Forgive me, but are there any updates on the new series? (sorry if this has already been asked).

Also, any tips on keeping our eating in check?

I'll end by saying you and your crew looked fabulous. Please tell the girls (Cedie, Jai, Lorraine, and Brenda) and those at SNM how much we love them (and you!) and everything they do for us.

Thanks for everything! :) :)

Hi Cathe
I'm so glad that the road trip was a success. Going to try to go to the next one!

I would love to read the hand-outs that were given out by the guest speakers on Saturday. Is there any way you could post them on the Cathe Blog? Thanks so much for giving this some consideration.

Thanks!

Linda

Hi Cathe,

First off, I am new to your workouts and I absolutely love them. I talk to you a lot through the television, though. ;-) When I'm done, I feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment. A big THANK YOU to you for creating fun, challenging, high quality, advanced workouts.

I am super excited about the new workouts coming out next month. I can't wait to get my hands on them. I want to ask you for an update on future projects for '07. I know you mentioned in your original post on this that there would be more info on the boxing workouts during the roadtrip. I got the impression that didn't work out from the agenda on the blog and what roadtrippers recounted from their experiences. Do you plan on doing these still and do you plan on doing another slow and heavy type of series? I am still hoping for another Rhythmic Step (my favorite step workout). Hint. Hint. ;-)

Thank you!

Soundtrack of your life, Cathe?

Hi Cathe! Music question - here goes:

The other day I heard Belinda Carlisle’s ‘Heaven on Earth’ and I’m surprised at how quickly it made me think of you in one of those cardio blasts in Step Jump Pump. (Stranger still, the station I listen to hardly ever plays that type of music). I’m wondering with the hundreds of tracks that you’ve used as background music through the years, when you hear songs on radio/at the mall/wherever does it often make you remember a particular workout? Thanks! :)

P.S. I'm so very thankful to see you online this afternoon. I was sssooo worried about the power going out. All this morning we've had a helluva wind storm - residual effects from Hurricane Dean in our region. Thankfully we've been spared the worst of the storm but here at home we're all thinking of nearby islanders who've had it worse.

Dear Cathe,

I have to tell you thanks for making such wonderful workouts! I just discovered you about a month ago and I just love to workout from home now. I am now a fan of yours and have truly enjoyed all the photos from the RT. I am going to try to go next year! And your blog is awesome too! I was rolling over laughing about the ice cream blog and the "Jim Dandy".
Looking forward to your MP3 workouts too! This is so great!
I am feeling so good about myself since I started doing your workouts (4 months postpartum now). My cardiovascular fitness is improving and I am getting more toned. I am now able to take in deep breaths when I work out...the endurance is building.
Thank you for making challenging home workouts. This is changing my life. I can now balance family, work and working out thanks to you!

Jennifer

Happy Afternoon Cathe! I hope you were able to catch a few winks between the RT & now. You never stopped and you are so welcoming & cheery even though you had to be so tired! I am also still flying high from all the fun! Words cannot express my appreciation for who you are and all you do for US! Please thank Chris, Nancy and the rest of the crew & cast for making my weekend one I will NEVER forget! I miss you all! {{{CATHE}}}

Hi Cathe -

I just came online and saw that you're here. Can I ask a quick question?

I had baby #3 last May and due to morning sickness, etc., really didn't work out at all for my entire pregnancy. While my upper body has responded very well (abs and all), I'm still struggling with the extra weight that found its way to my butt and upper thighs. Any advice on how to blast that away? My DD is 15 months now, and I'm desperately wanting to get my old legs back!

I'm a local South Jersey girl, too, and am hoping one day to make it to one of your live classes!

RE: Happy Friday, Cathe!!!

Hi Cathe, One of these years when the kids are a little older, I plan on joining the road trip, unless I fall of the exercise band wagon. Anyhow, is it necessary to do butts and guts and gs legs in the same week? And, if I skip floor work, how much am I missing? Melissa

HI HI HI HI !!!!!!!

Sooooo excited never talked to you before big hugs from
Ontario Canada!

Just finished High Step Challenge, you kicked my but :)
in a good way of course!
Wanted to meet you so bad and take part in all the fun on the RT but was #195:( .
Took 3rd place in a Body Building Fame Contest in Toronto in
June. It was my first, I was scared, I am 42 and a Mother of 3.
So I was pretty proud and my family as well.

Hi Neicebug!

How are your children doing?

Kyle and Eric are soooo excited to start school. Kyle will begin Kindergarten and ride the school bus for the first time.....oh no here go the tears again, wink! Eric is starting second grade and sooo excited to ear his new cool sneakers.

My favorite vacation always involves beaches, sun, and great weather. I love to unwind and relax. But I also enjoy a touristy traveling vacation here and there too. My favorite vacation activity is usually walking and taking in the sights. If on the beach, I love a run along the waters edge....ahhhh!

Skin Care: I use HYMED skin care along with Bobbie brown foundation. I have also stated enjoying a couple of sessions of microdermabrasions here and there. I don't have a favorite shampoo or conditioner. I rotate a few. I usually use whatever my stylist recommends for my extra fine frizzy-when-humid hair to keep it tame and soft looking as best as I can. Summer is not my best look, HA!

I love split pea soup or 99% lean turkey burger chili in a slow cooker.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to enjoy a good book in a while, so no I haven't read that book. Let me know how you like it!

:)

Sorry we missed you Marcy...definitely hope to see you on a RT in the future. I think you will be very pleased with the choreograpghy on Higher Intensity Step :7

Hello Cathe, I am having computer problems .
Is this where you answer questions. my computer is about to restart itself.

Hello again,

I did not make it to the road trip this year but it looks like everyone had such positive experiences that I can't wait to try next year.

I fell in love with your workouts since I first saw Rhythmic Step on Fittv and I have purchased the new series.

I have been doing aerobics since I was a teenager, and usually I get bored with the workouts I do (1st Kathy Smith, gym memberships, Cher, and the Firm), but ever since I found you I have not found any time to get bored! It's always hard to choose which workout to do since there is such a selection and they all keep me motivated.

Someday I will have my Cathe library current (I didn't say complete because I hope you'll always be doing what you love)

Colleen (fan from Ohio)

:7

Hi Tina....Chris and I go way back (over 20 years) and are partners in business.

I LOVE that rubber flooring too. So neat and clean!

Hi Cathe,

I was wondering about what you prefer to wear when working out? I noticed in the rehearsal pictures on your blog that you and your crew seemed to favor mostly looser-fitting clothes (loved the cute capris!) than the ones you wear in your workouts.

Any preference?

I remember reading a bunch of people were wondering if your husband was at the RT. I heard that he wasn't. Did the thought of over 100 rabid fans }( scare him away? ;) :7

I hope to make it one day.
