I did leg & rear delts this morning. I thing that this is my new fav. leg workout. Cathe took all of the best moves from all of her other dvd's, with some minor changes, and created the best leg workout. I also love that during the floor portion, ZZ Tops "Legs" is playing. Thanks Cathe.

So glad you picked up on that song playing during the workout!! I was wondering if anyone would recognize it :) Glad you are loving the workout. It will love you back in no time :)

Can you tell us about the impact level in this workout? I've been considering it, but have tricky knees. I really need low impact. Thanks.

Oh i cant wait to do it! I love that song! Thats like i think i mentioned do ya think im sexy or any rod stewart songs on a thread for suggestions for her workouts... Well i did back chest and shoulders yesterday.. I could have swarn i heard the instermental portion of do ya think im sexy.. Not sure but it made me smile that maybe just maybe she tried tk sneak my request in there somewhere. Lol

LOL Renee....you are correct. I wrote down the song list from that thread and sent them to the DJ to remake as legally as he could. So glad you noticed.

This workout is not a jumpy leg workout (I saved the jumps for Cardio Leg Blast). This LEGS and REAR DELTS routine is hitting the Legs from all angles, standing, ball, barre, mat etc.

That is so cool about the music! I can't wait to do Legs. I am on day 3 of the rotation, so I think I get to do it on Friday. Yeah! I did Hard Strikes today and loved the music. I forget the specific song, but somewhere in the middle right when I thought I'd lose steam, there was a version of a popular song I recognized and it revved my energy right back up! Love it.

Cathe you are a doll i felt so young and dare i say..special when i was doing that video! She heard me ! Lol now i know you did do it for us! Its, even doing the wo you are talking to me. At times u actualy seem like you can see what im doing wrong with form too. Im so excited.. Now gotta tell DH about this!

I was going to finish this last week of another rotation before I started with the new workouts, but based on your recommendation did Legs and Rear Delts this morning! It was awesome, I agree. It is all low impact, but high high rep, WOW! Loved the variety, and also found that ZZ top helps take some of the sting out of floor work (but not much!)

She's got legs...

And learns how to use them in ever possible excruciating but fun way in Legs Xtrain! ZZ Top makes many of us Texans sentimental. Also another one of ZZ tops' songs came to mind during floorwork...

Excruciating is an under statement! I could hardly stand up for a while after that workout. Funny thing is that ZZ Top song has been the main ring tone my friends have used for when I call. I earned it. It's my anthem and has sentimental value too. I'm so excited Cathe put it in the workout.

Did I also pick up on some Guns & Roses in the routine (before ZZ Top)? Thought it sounded like Sweet Child O' Mine.

BTW, I too love the workout. Can't wait to try Cardio Legs!

I did this yesterday (standing + floor) and loved it! I chose to up my weights from what Cathe was using and got a very challenging w/o. IMO, the floor portion takes this workout above and beyond (perhaps because floor work is my weakness ). I felt all area's of the leg & glutes were worked well in such a short amount of time (50min approx.). Most of the time I don't have 60min+ to devout to standing+floor work, but I like to do both. This fit the bill perfectly :).

I love that song! It was on cardio leg blast? Ill have to listen for it, must have been during a lunge where i have to consentrate to not fall over. Lol i used to love lunges but (since my sirgeties i hav balance issues. Its rather funny to watch). But love i dont use a barbelll that makes me concentrate better! Lol

Surprised and delighted by this one

My goodness this is an effective workout for the legs and rear delts, as both are truly telling me today that I challenged them yesterday.
The variety is a joy, as is the music so the whole thing (80 minutes if you do it all plus whatever it takes for the 100 rep challenge) goes by quickly.
I was surprised because very little or light weight is used, but it shows today after one workout. I do feel that I'm standing straighter thanks to the delt work....that is especially important for us past menopause.

Thanks Cathe and team for keeping me strong.
Speaking of team, where is Lorraine?

LOVED the 5lb weights in my knees on the floor work... and the barre work nearly crippled me (in a good way).
I am already sitting straighter from the Rear Delt workout. I can feel those muscles right now - hours after I worked out. And, why did I SPIN this afternoon?
It's all good - work, work.

DH and I did legs today....Oh my goodness, what an awesome, awesome workout! I just LOVE Cathe's demeanor in this one.:D What a winner!!!!:D:D
