Legs & Glutes vs. GS Legs

HI all

What is the difference between Legs & Glutes and GS Legs?

I want to train myself to have nice, firm, lifted & round "back" but not too big, firm & slim legs, so I am looking for something that can help me to achieve my goal.

I already have Legs & Glutes, but when I was searching through the forum, I see a lot of people also liked GS Legs. I already invested a lot in Cathe's DVDs and others (P90X), and I would like to know if I could avoid purchasing GS legs. Or is there anything else you recommend to get for my behind? :p

By the way, should I do heavy weights but less reps, or light weight but more reps (12 - 15?) to get to my goal? How much weight is heavy/ light?
Thank you so much~!

In my opinion GS Legs hits the hamstrings (especially bicep femoris)like no other Cathe leg workout. There are some other goodies in there that are unique to this workout like the slooooow motion lunges, they sound not too bad but boy do you feel it. The ball work is also very effective and challenging.

I love Legs & Glutes, it's fun and effective, there is no dread factor. With GS Legs I mentally prepare for the workout more but have a much greater feeling of accomplishment (not to mention DOMS, or IONS 'instant onset muscle soreness' a phrase coined by Kathryn) when I'm finished.

Take Care

I can only speak to GS Legs as I haven't attempted Legs and Glutes yet...but boy is Laurie right on the DOMS point. My hamstrings hurt so bad the day after doing GS Legs. It's a great workout!! The slow motion lunges are SOOOOOO hard...but obviously work SOOOOO well. I have to admit I had a lot of dread factor (but in a good way) when realizing this workout was coming up in my rotation...it was the only one I had to psyche myself up for. I guess I'm a little bit relieved that I won't be meeting up with that one again for at least another month. I actually have Legs and Glutes in this month's rotation, along with the much talked about Leaner Legs, so I'm anxious to see how these go :D .

>Now I'm scared to try my recent purchase of GS legs!! lol

Don't worry. You will only hit the major DOMS for the first workout. ;)

It will get better as you use it more often. This is truly complete leg workout.

Warning!! Do not leave this workout at the selves too long or else!! }( }(
