Legs and Glutes

In doing a little spring cleaning, I decided to clean off my video shelf. I have known for a while how many vhs tapes I have aquired over the years, but it really is getting a bit rediculous. I have also been getting the newest stuff on dvd and have been really happy with that over vhs. So I have listed a TON of vhs on eBay in the hopes of buying all the dvd's of Cathe that I don't have. Any Firmies out there, those are listed too.

Anyway, the reason for posting, is that I uncovered my KPC and Legs and Glutes dvd. How that got shoved off to the back somehow I will never know....still in the wrapper! Makes me wonder just what kind of rut I have been in. What a workout! I have been so in love with PLB, and feeling so good about that one, that this change was killer. What is up with those plie squats, and then crossing the leg behind. Sometimes when Cathe says "OH, It never lets up!" I just breath on through. But this time I was the one ready to cry "It never lets up!"

The other one is the one legged dead lift, and how could I not mention the "leaping lunges" or whatever those things are called. I about fell over:D

I only wish I didn't have to take a rest day in between, this one was great and I can't wait to try again. Better late than never........
 
I don't know how you could let that one take a back burner and still be in the wrapper.:eek: I did that one on Tuesday and I skip the explosive lunges myself. As for the plie and step behind things they really work your legs don't they??!! :D Cathe is just a slave driver in that workout}( and she knows it,LOL!! ;-) :7 Everybody in that tape is hustling to get their weights together for the next exercise. Not to mention all the killer exercises that don't even use weights, oh my those are killers too.:eek:

Have fun with that one and you will love KPC too.

Hey Annette, the silly thing slipped behind my rows (and rows) of vhs somehow. Thank goodness I had the urge to dust and clean things up a bit.

Cathe just gets funnier and funnier to me! I swear, I just like that girl so much, feel like we could probably be friends in real life. She IS a slave driver, and just giggles all the way through her whip crakin':)

Reminds me of the thread about Favorite Cathe Phrases. I have a hard time picking just one, but she sure has a way of poking fun that is so darn funny and encouraging at the same time.
 
I love Legs and Glutes! I've done it a few times now and I'm almost making it through. Those step behind lunge things are hard on my knees (ouch) so I decided not to do them. No matter how I try and adjust I can feel the twist in my knee. I still can't get all of the *leaping lunges* (lol), those are killer. I love it when Cathe says "Yes you can!" as it seems like she is talking right to me at that point. I think it's also so encouraging that Cathe lets us see her struggle a bit now and then too. Her determination at those moments in infectious!
 
Legs & Glutes is awesome! I also have the Timesaver DVD where in this workout some of the standing leg work is omitted for some other ones. Like kick Butt lunges. I found doing the shortened version on Timesaver I usually have more strength on the floor work as that is the same....Cathe is great...:)...Carole
 
I also just did this workout for the first time all the way through this week and I love it. I couldn't finish all the reps on some of the exercises, so I definitely have something to work up to on this workout. I was sore all day yesterday in my hamstrings and butt.
