Legs and Glutes Vs. Leaner Legs

Leaner Legs is way and above my fave of Cathe's lower body workouts. It gets results. It is quick, mean and dirty, and you don't need endless amounts of different gear to do it.

I hate leg lifts and floor work. There are none of these in LL. Hooray!

YOu want to get the job done and then have time for dinner and a movie? Leaner Legs is your answer.

I love all the workouts mentioned here with PLB being my favorite and L&G right behind it. The reason I like L&G is b/c even if I just match Cathe on her weights the exercises are a bit different from my usual lower body workouts. I really focus on the muscles and holding in my abs and using good form and I get a really good lower back workout also. I often feel a slight sorness in different areas of my legs the next day...not major DOMS or anything but I know that I've used/worked my lower body muscles. I ususally feel a little bit of "tightness" in my hams, outer, and inner thighs. Also, as other's have said, I don't have to talk myself into this one and it is enjoyable. It doesn't KILL you like LL does. BUT, I also agree with Clare's assessment of LL. So good luck in your decision! It is just a matter of what to get first since you could very well end up getting them all in the future! I was goint to start out slowly but once I found Cathe(a little bit before the Intensity series came out) I had to own them all. My poor husband ended up buying me a Barbell, DVD player(which he had to set up and hook up to my little workout TV), Reebok step, more dumbells, and almost all the Cathe workouts! Now he dreads the words...Cathe is coming out with a new series or Cathe preorder...tee hee.

Something else, since so many other workouts have been talked about. I like having a variety to choose from. I notice if I've done PLB for a while my body gets used to it, but after doing something else for a while then going back to PLB I have major DOMS the first few times. Also, you can follow a variety of rotations and have the many different workouts to choose from.
