Legs and glutes results

I've been reading that people have been getting good results with this one. I haven't tried it yet. Exactly what results have people been getting?

This is my favorite workout out of the whole BB Series. Once I received the DVD's, I did L&G once or twice a week. For the last three days though I've done L&G Extreme. Today will be day four of doing it. I'm looking to get more definition in my legs and lean out more. The changes I've seen so far is my inner/upper thighs are bigger, but that may be temporary ~ since heavy weight isn’t used.

Leg and Glutes Xtreme:

Leg press on high step
Hover squats
Rear lunges
plie squats
Rear lunges
plie squats (varied tempo)
drop squats on high step
explosive plie squats w/ curtsey
calf raises
one legged dead lifts
plie squats (traditional)
sculpting drills on high step
explosive lunges
Do All Over Again!! Twice through.


Outer thigh leg press on high step w/ ankle weights
calf raises w/ ankle weights
standing leg extensions w/ ankle weights
standing outer thigh leg lifts
Do this section All Over Again!!


Glute and hamstring tucks on high step w/ ankle weights
glute and hamstring raises w/ ankle weights
outer thigh and glute sweeps w/ ankle weights
inner thigh lifts w/ ankle weights
This section is only done once.

I love this workout! It takes about 80 minutes. My legs are very tired, not sore, almost a shaky feeling. A lot different than how I feel after doing PS Legs.

I really like the look of those one-legged deadlifts. Still haven't actually done L&G, but I tried that exercise and it really seems to get the glutes. I was looking for an exercise that would target the glutes without too much quads involvement because my quads are already big enough.
 
Hi Shaz, You haven't tried L&G?? It's a lot of fun and an excellent workout. I have been using this workout consistently the last couple of weeks. I am seeing results already. My quads if felt were getting a little too big, for example, it I wore a straight fitting skirt, it would be a little too snug around my quads. Not that I'm a big person by any means, I wear a girls 14 Slim jean. However, there was, and still is a bit, a big difference between my quads and hamstrings ~ what hamstrings? Mine are kind of flat. So the results I'm seeing is my quads have gone down, I don’t think it's so much fat loss, I think it's reshaping my muscle, and I have more definition. The only modification I do in L&G is the one legged squat w/ 3lb heel lift ~ because having you heel lifted puts more emphasis on your quads. The one legged deadlifts really emphasize your upper hamstring/lower glute, plus lower back. It's tough, but fun too! The weights that are used are really light so you wont "bulk" ~ like the "hulk".

Hi everyone,
:9 I did legs and glutes for the first time today, wow what a great work out whew. I did circuit max first this morning and had to try out legs and glutes, I think I will sleep good tonight.
