Leaner Legs

OK, since I'm waiting patiently for the BB series, and I've been sooo good, I ordered the Pyramid DVD. Whatever rationale I used works for me! And then that little person in my brain said, "Wait, what about Leaner Legs?" So here's the question, is LL a must have? I need to remember that I'll be getting a bazillion workouts when BB comes. Also, do they ship the Pyramids now, or do I have to wait and get them with the BB DVD? Tanx, Cheryl

When I preordered the Intensity Series, I also ordered Classics Vol. 1 and that shipped before the I-Series did.

As for Leaner Legs, I have yet to see all the leg work from the Body Blast series, however, I do really like Leaner Legs. It packs a punch in 33 min. and is a nice compliment to PS SL&A or PLB. I would suggest getting the entire CTX series, but I realize you have already ordered quite a bit recently. Cathe and her crew do (2) tough sets of squats including lots of low-ends, leg presses, sit and stands, one legged lunges, static lunges, and plies. In between these sets, she has you do dead lifts and calves so there isn't much rest. And it has a nice, long ab routine. In other words, do you need it? Maybe not? Would you be sorry you ordered it? Never!

Hey Jillybean! I love saying that name. How did it come about? It's such an up, happy kinda name, I'm thinking about changing mine.

Thanks for the info. I think I was creditcard-high when I wrote that and wanted MORE. Of course I want all Cathe's stuff but I'll be good and wait to order the CTX DVD. If I don't wait, what would I buy when the next buying frenzy hits me? Cheryl

Hi Cheryl! Of course you have to buy it!!!!!:7 All the workouts that Cathe has developed is a must have for variety & muscle confusion. This way you'll never plateau. I LOVE Leaner Legs so go for it! Kathy:D

I think "Meaner Legs" has the reputation of being Cathe's toughest leg workout, but that opinion may change after we all get a load of Legs and Glutes.

I don't know Angela, I don't think anything in this world can come close to being as evil and wicked as LL. I've often compared childbirth to it and I'm not sure which would win.

Get Leaner Legs.....it's a must!!

I have PLB and Legs and Glutes. Great tapes. I have The CTX series on order which means I will have Leaner Legs soon. :) I have thought of rotating these three every week. Of course along with upper body and step and a bit of running. Have not dived into any rotations yet. But I have been looking. ;)

I love Legs and Glutes, but LL is MUCH tougher! It's like the difference between a step tape and IMAX. Ouch!

Shari

You'll LOVE (well maybe love isn't the right word) LL.

I've gotten great results from BB (on my legs) my toughest areas. Legs and Glutes is great too!

Enjoy

Wow....got LL..you are all right, killer tape. Made the mistake of not having lighter than 15lb DB's for the step-ups...yeow!.I wanted to ask you all a question. If you have the PS series, how would you rate the leg workout in Strong Legs and Abs with the others mentioned here? I do miss the outer thigh work isn't in LL. Thanks..:) Carole

Hi Carole. :) I agree with Bobbi on PS SLA...I've only done it once so far (had just gotten it a couple of weeks ago) but it's a KILLER lower body workout. My bottom half was definitely all-over sore for about 2 days after doing it. :)

Well, I'm trying it tomorrow....thanks for the input...I'll let you know if I can walk after!!:) Carole

I've done a lot of lower body tapes, but nothing gave me the results that doing Leaner Legs once a week for six weeks did. It's a very difficult workout, but it's effective. I did make one substitution. I can't do static lunges. They cause too much foot pain, so I did moving lunges instead. Also this workout is easily split in half. Do the first part up to the second squat section on one day, and the second half on another.

You and Bobbi are right..PS SLA is great. I did add some cardio in between some exercises as I felt like some more aerobics than just weights. I do feel it in my glutes as I type! And my outer thighs were shaking on the last set..:). These leg tapes are so much fun and very tough...Thanks Cathe!...Carole
