Leaner Legs/Power Circuit Back to Back??

Did I read somewhere not to do this?

I am doing CTX and am going in order, and these fall back to back. I'm thinking I read somewhere not to do this. I haven't done either tape yet, and should I put my new Intense Moves in between them possibly?

I guess I could wait to do Power Circuit & see what I think, but just thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

Janice - if you're reading this, can you believe I STILL haven't done LL???? But soon, it's time is definitely coming! I cannot put it off any longer. :)

As I recall, Cathe said NOT to do them back-to-back. I usually put two or three days between them.

Power Circuit is a great leg workout, btw! Lots of fun and boy, does your butt hurt the next day!

You're right, they shouldn't be done back to back since both are lower body workouts, both with back and leg work.
Doing them back to back wouldn't allow for any muscle recovery time.

Ok, thanks!!

I wonder why they are back to back in the series then? I was just going in order and that puts them together. Seems kinda strange that they did that to me.

Thanks!! I'll put something in between..:) It will keep leaner legs at bay longer too! :+

I can't wait to hear your review of both of those tapes..Power Circuit is my fave out of all the CTX...

Well......

I think I will like PC once I get more familiar with the moves, it did keep my heart rate (you know I'm anal about it :)) in the zone for a good time. So, that was a good thing. I think the way the tape is done, is good for me. I just need to get the moves down.

And, ahhhh, LL, just got done with it.. My quads are feeling it, I hate how everything seems to effect them moreso than the glutes. I did notice after some Cathe pointers, that my squat form may not be what I thought it was, I will work on this. I couldn't do all the lunge stuff, and the sit/stands. YUCK!!, and the, oh what were they called? the things where your back leg is on a short step, I had trouble w/them, mostly b/c I need a step that will not slide on me. So, I didn't do the entire tape, but I got thru what I could.

I hated it, b/c I hate leg work. I think it kept my HR up at a good level too, but I didn't wear the monitor so I dont know how many min, but I could tell it was high, I had to take breaks! I will have to just keep doing CTX rotations, or I can see myself never pulling that tape out. That is kind of my plan anyhow, to do as much CTX for a while as I can. Plus some interval training. Tomorrow Gin Miller Intense moves is on the schedule, I was recommended to do interval training to help my cardio endurance.

All Step was another new tape to me, so I had 3 new tapes with the CTX series. I will probably start it again right away.
