I wanted to buy KPC on DVD and see that it has Legs and Glutes on it as well. I really hate to buy KPC on video, but I don't feel like I need another leg workout. Thought I'd see what others think about Legs and Glutes. If you all say that it's a good workout worth having, I'll go with the DVD. Your input is appreciated.

i don't have the dvd version but have done the workouts. i would rate a quite different workout then i have done before. it really mixes things up and all you need are ankle weights and dumbbells. its nice once in awhile to not have to drag the barbell out. plus all the premixes and workout blenders on it can take kpc to another level by adding some leg and glutes segments. i feel legs and glutes is very much worth it. and on the dvd you can always skip what you don't like or want to use with one push of a button instead of rewinding.

I really like Legs and Glutes. It's a nice leg workout - that keeps your heart rate up as well. So you get a good workout. And as others have said - the premixes are awesome.

I'm just coming back after a LONG time off. I LOVE L&G. The best my legs and butt ever were is when I was doing L&G. It really lifts your butt!

Once I get back into it (I'm doing 2-3 weeks of CTX) I plan to get L&G into the routine!

Let us know what you decide.

i just did LEGS AND GLUTES yesterday...and i am slightly hobbling today at work!!! the glutes are talking to me everytime i move!}(

I think you should definitely get "KPC" on dvd with "Legs and Glutes". Both workouts are great and the DVD options are awesome. Adding another wonderful leg workout to your collection will mean having a nice variety. And since it's on the same dvd with "KPC", it'll take up less storage space!

Ditto to the other responses.

L&G is so different with great variety! And the premixes really are awesome. I wouldn't call it a mass builder for the legs....I would think of it more for leaning them out. It is one of my favorites and I like to alternate it with the heavier, more traditional lower body work.

DO NOT BUY LEGS & GLUTES!!!! It is AWFUL!!!! The music is so overpowering that you can't hear a word Cathe is saying. Cathe's company should give this tape out for FREE.

I assume you have the VHS? The DVD has the option to turn to music up, down or off completely. If that's your only objection, with the DVD it is completely nullified.

Yes, but L&G is only on VHS (by itself). You have to spend 3x the money to L&G on DVD and it comes with 2 other tapes. I don't need the other tapes so it comes down to $17.95 vs. $44.95. I could not tell from the Video Clip that the music overpowered her voice which is why I feel the way I do. Cathe's company should print this problem so that the buyer knows of this problem. So, now I am stuck with this video because returns are not allowed. This is why I only buy at Collage video - because of their return policy. Unfortunately, this tape is not available at Collage. Wonder WHY??????

Hi sophie,

I really like this workout. It suprised me because I felt that I did not need another leg workout. I bought it because of the preorder price and I've never been happier. The workout really mixes things up from other leg workouts. I like the music and all the options that are included. Both workouts on this DVD, as well as, the combo workouts are worth the price.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE with Elln: I have L&G on vhs and NO issue with the music. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Did i do enought UPPER CASE !

Sorry Elln - but I don't get where you are coming from on that!

I looked at the ten minute preview of KPC, and I decided that I am purchasing it soon on the DVD version. I do have a few questions though. In order to do Legs and Glutes, I need a high step. Am I able to turn my club sized step into a high step just by adding more risers to it? I don't have a ton of room for a load of equipment. Thanks.

You can do just that. But I use an outside low table (it's 15" high and sturdy) for my high step, and just my 8" step for the squat-leg lifts. A lower chair also works.

Sophiem,

If you haven't already purchased "KPC/Legs & Glutes" on DVD, here's a suggestion that you might want to consider: Buy it from Collage Video. They have a 30 days satisfaction guarantee, so if you decide that you don't like "Leg & Glutes" enough to add to your leg workout rotation, then you can return it for a full refund (minus shipping cost. If you do send it back, choose first class mailing---it's very cheap).

And if you decide it's a keeper, then Collage has a replacement guarantee on all of their DVDs. What's so nice about Collage Video is that they accept opened DVDs as returns, as long as it's within the 30 days time frame. I think it's a win-win situation. Besides, I think DVD quality is so much better than that of VHS and well worth the money spent.

I love my "KPC/Legs & Glutes" DVD---wonderful DVD options and the 2 workouts themselves are great!
