KK's September Check-In

Good Afternoon!

Am posting a little early today in the hopes of getting to bed a little early tonight.

I just learned (have been listening to talk radio today) that the bill presented by the bankers to Congress which failed today included a clause in it to deploy foreign troops into this country to force people off their property in the case of a foreclosure. What is going on here? Do any of you know? Thank goodness for alternate radio who did take the time to read the bill.

Okay, enough of that. Onto less upsetting things.

It was IMAX3 8 intervals for me today -- great workout.

Hi Jeanette! Hi Rhea! Hi Tammy! And Hi Mandy!

Janie, how are things going with you? Love the graphic. Okay, gotta get dressed and get into that course. Have a super day, everyone. And terrific workouts.

Good morning,
No workout yesterday, my rest day, but I did do a walk during my break. After work, grocery shopped with DH. Got to bed early, so I feel pretty rested. Hoping to make this a habit.

This morning's workout was Slow & Heavy Chest & Back, with Supermans and Planks. I did leave out the deadlifts and maybe a little of the chest press work as I didn't want to go over 60 minutes. Have a nice toasty feeling right now. Tonite is golf with the ladies. Hope we don't get thunderstorms.

Karen, what the heck is up with that bill and foreign troops. I feel like the world is spinning out of control sometimes. Good job on finishing part of your course. What is the course? I might have missed that somewhere.

Tammy, glad you are getting to ride. What part of the country are you in? Can you ride thru the winter where you live? How did the ride with your neighbor go? Those Pyramid workouts are good ones too.

Janie, hope you had a great visit with your relatives. (((hugs))) and hopes for more healing to you. Good luck at the doctor's today.

Hi Rhea, hope you rested up this weekend.

We will be going to my PS today and to get rice, beans...from costco.

The bail out isn't over yet. There is still hope. I think people get a little confused about it. It is a loan to back up the banks loans, that's all it is. They (the gov.) very well may come out of it ahead in a few years or so. If this happens (an I certainly hope for the bail out) the banks can't just give out loans to people, like they have been, the banks have to make sure that people can pay the loans back. That is why our banks are in trouble. People can't pay back their loans, for many reasons. Anyway, my 2 cents worth.
Yesterday I did a Cathe 30 min. step up.

My hubby is rushing me and I'll talk later. Got to go.

Back home and I don't have exceptional news. I'm not sure how much you would want to know in detail, so I'll try and pick my words so it won't be too gross. The doctor agreed that my wound was not healing properly. He suggested to take the scab off. So he did, he also got rid of a lot of liquid that was building up. I guess the scab and the nipple workings came out with it, because it left a deep hole inside my breast. That was the hard part. Now I pack it with gauze 3 times a day for a week. Then he wants me to see him again in a week. From there I'm not sure if this continues on or for how long. No one knows, it's up to my body. It could take weeks, or months. Right now though I can't exercise until after next week ( I hope I can next week). I could have another operation to get this healing going quicker, but I opted not too, because of them putting me out. It took me so long to come out of it the first time. I just don't want to go under again if I can help it. So it will take longer this way. As you must already know, I'm tired of this, depressed and I have to have courage three times a day to stuff myself with gauze. Jeesh! It has to be done. The good news, there still is no infection, and now I'm on my way to healing. I'm so upset I can't even write well.

Take care everyone, I'll talk with you all later when things have settled.

Good Evening!

Well, I am going to move after all. I just found out something else about where I'm staying that makes it even all the more unsafe and so I'm going to move. I already have an apartment to move into -- it's more expensive, but I was over there today and it has a homey, safe feel to it and the person renting it to me (she's a friend) says it is safe. Deep breath. I sure don't like moving, but I really don't have a choice at this point.

Then one of the dogs downstairs today (and they are pit bulls) chased Georgie. I was screaming like mad -- so afraid, but Georgie is nothing but fast and he did get away without injury. What a day. It took me almost all afternoon to coax Georgie out from underneath the house -- he's here now and he won't be going out again for a while most likely.

Jeanette, your workouts sound really tough -- bet you're looking good. How was golf this evening? Well, I increased how much of the veggie juice I'm drinking per day and I'm noticing that once again, the weight is getting back into check -- so that's good.;)

Janie, I wouldn't want to go under again either. I've never been under, not even giving birth -- and I wouldn't want to do it, either. I'm sorry that you lost the nipple. Please, do let me encourage you to give yourself those touch assists two to three times a day, also -- they have been known to speed healing. If you have any questions, please just email me, okay? Good that there was no infection.:)

The way I look at the bail out, it's sort of like your friend goes and gambles and loses his shirt -- and now expects you to bail him out and cover his losses. So while the homeowners these banks financed are losing everything, the big CEO's who made the bad investments, get to ride off into the sunset having been reimbursed millions of dollars that we the tax payers will be paying back and our children and their children will be paying back for years and years into the future.

Hi Rhea & Tammy and Mandy!:D

Well, have a good day tomorrow, everyone.
