Hi Karen, Rhea and Natalie:
Posting this for October for you Karen, not the same without you! Hope you come back soon. We miss you...
I just started Cathe's October rotation. I don't have the Gym Styles for upper body, so subbed Pyramid Upper body for Biceps/Shoulders/Back and then added on a few lunges and ab work from CTX Leaner Legs and Abs. I did the pyramids up and down, which I've never done before, only upper. I really do like the Pyramids DVD. What is the length of time for the GS Biceps, Shoulders and Back? Think I was done using the Pyramids in about 35 minutes, so I guess 10 minutes for each part plus the warmup. Should I be doing a longer period of time for each part? Maybe I should add on some CTX upper body too. Someday, I'll have to order the S&H series as I hear it's really good.
Saturday, I ran 4 miles at about 10 minutes per mile. I did feel it by the time I got done, one knee was a little sore, but no soreness after the running stopped. Yesterday, did a casual bike ride (16 miles) to the coffee shop with a friend. It was fun. Afterwards, I spent a couple hours stacking wood. Winter is around the corner...
Good workouts to all and I'm working on clean eating today. Saturday was a family BBQ but I didn't get too outrageous.
Good workouts!
Jeanette
